Ok frist episode not as strong an opening as the frist series but I still liked it.

I agree. I liked the start of season 1 better, it started with a bang and this season there's much less impact with the opening episode. Also I wish they'd keep the whole tracks from season 1. Anyway, I'm just glad to see everyone back.

The first episode really wasn't as strong as last season's, buut then this ep spent quite a bit of time reintroducing characters, plus the curbstomping is on the opposite side this time. The visuals are good and I like the designs of the 4 Demon Swords, especially Sasaki, though I would have preferred goggles to a blindfold...

Pretty fun first episode. It was a joy to reunite with this cast, Naoe the warrior of love in particular. She's still the buttmonkey of the show I see. I'm really hoping she will be the girl that will be turned into a master samurai next week. I want to see her be on the other side of an ass kicking for once!

The moe moe kyun kyun maid stuff was nice service. I'm surprised they all accepted to wear this skimpy outfit. They seem to be ready to go to any length to raise money... even lifting their skirts and riping off their customers.

The new dark samurais came out of nowhere. Waiting for an explanation. I'm quite liking Musashi so far. I could see her getting along well with the rest of the cast. Hell, she already is.

The art direction was the same as ever, so great. Glad they didn't change anything.

Blindfold was in the novel. Your just lucky they didn't animate the bleeding... Tears of blood yo... something I don't want to see.

A satisfying first episode.

3 question came to mind watching the episode, first, Where did new girls come from and will they join Muneakira harem ? Second, What's with the ipad? And third, Hattori Hanzo has a scouter?

??? Hanzo had that at the first episode of the first season my friend. SHe uses it a lot of times last season. Though out of all the Hanzo characters I've seen in different series, I can not help but feel well, well lets put it this way (Most characters I've seen base on Hanzo or relatives of Hanzo are serious, stern, cool, very strong and then we have this series where Hanzo is a Masochist, perverted, emotional, and sometimes dumb).

First episode wasn't so bad, though it is kind of crazy that they had to make the dojo into a maid cafe and the government is holding out on them.

So in the ep2 preview they were talking about another of the girls becoming a master samurai, I wonder who it'll be...
I'm hoping Naoe, I need to see her in master samurai form!

It wasn't the strongest first episode back, but the series is back

!

On the positive I guess it's good to know the final battle matchups after the first episode

. Good to see the cast again at any rate.

I noticed that Aki Toyosaki and Yoko Hikasa sang the ending song. I'm not surprised since they voice 2 major characters (Naoe and Musashi) in this series. So does this mean its K-On all over again?

Yeah, I saw the first season too, but for some reason everytime she used it, it was an

That's not Dark Jubei, it's Combat Jubei.

I believe the correct term is Master Samurai Juubei. The Juubei-Gisen fusion if I'm not mistaken is an anime original thing since studio Arms took a lot of liberties and altered or removed details from the light novel.

Actually its the real Jubei, that her real personality. The childish Jubei is a personality created by an incomplete contract, the one who becomes the Master Samurai is the real personality.

well I liked the first episode especially maid cafe thing. ı hope they continue and do better episodes. I kinda liked Dark Samurais. it had been long ı liked some villain like characters
