I just hope that the end will be worth watching. I hated how Mai-Hime was finished and I dont want to remember the end of Evangelion. Lets hope Death Note has an excellent ending.

How did Takada know Mello's real name? Yagami's father did not tell Mello's name to Yagami Light, i recall.

He spelled (?) it and Light heard it because his father was connected with the HQ by a radio set.
