I think Squall's American or British. I doubt the Blond hair is dyed.

If she dyed it, ichika would probably comment it looks fake. Besides, "High Class ladies" always have naturally blond hair in anime land.

Now that you brought up the whole "High Class always blond hair" up, that's practically the only thing I noticed when it comes to blonds in anime/manga series.

But I can't say the same for mine. Remember that Brian is also blond haired, but he's not part of the "high class" anymore.

Spoiler for for a plot bunny that wouldn't leave me alone:

Kamen Rider Kabuto and IS cross over along with any alien referenced series one can think of.

Ichika is out on his own after hanging out with Dan for the day. On his way back to ISA, he finds himself attacked by a doppelganger of himself. He is utterly confused but it soon turns to horror when his mirror image turns into a bug like monster that continues with its assault, intending to kill him. Ichika quickly summons Byakushiki to fight back and succeeds in warding it off. But the creature isn't alone, a swarm of them come attacking and he dispatches them as soon as they come. Before he realizes it, he is on the ground, beaten with the foot of a larger and more complex humanoid insect standing over him. He tries to rise up again and it's not even a second when he feel himself tossed through the air and juggled multiple times before crashing back into the ground.

Ichika is on the brink of passing out but a scream alerts him of a girl who just walked into the scene. Ichika tries to help her as the insects storm towards the girl. She can't move, petrified with fear. The teen struggles but the foot on him is firm.

The girl is captured by the insect men and is wrapped in a cocoon. The monsters click their mandibles at each other as if talking, they then take a bite into the girl's shoulder, making her scream in pain despite the sticky silk gagging her.

Ichika watches in horror and struggles in a panic. He wants to help that girl but deep down, he really doesn't want to suffer the same fate. He calls out for Byakushiki to lend him strength, but for all his strength, he even react before he's down on his back or on his stomach with the monsters standing over him.

Byakushiki finally gives out and returns to its closed state. Ichika is powerless as he watches the girl lose her arm. Her face already showing that she's gone into shock. Something in him snaps and he screams.

A small mechanical creature suddenly appears and smashes into the monster pinning Ichika down. The mechanical creature is actually a machine scorpion. Ichika stands up and keeps his eyes on it, wondering where such a small body could muster the strength needed to get the bluk of the monster off balance. A rift appears over his head and a sword drops down before him, stabbing into the ground.

Ichika grabs the sword and catches the mechanical scorpion that jumps at him. He realizes that there is a slot on the sword where he can place the scorpion in. He follows his instincts and transforms into an armored warrior, successfully destroying the humanoid insects.

After the battle, he returns to check on the girls and realizes that she may not have much time left. He starts to dial for an ambulance but a hand grabs his wrist and tells him to stop. Ichika looks back to to meet the face of a foreigner. Shortly after, a black van stops at the scene and out pour many men in black uniforms with equipment, some weapons, most medical. They take custody of the girl and the blonde foreigner tells Ichika to calm down and that the girl will be okay since she'll be put into temporal stasis until they get to a location where they can give her regenerative treatment.

Ichika is confused by all that and asks who the foreigner is. He introduces himself as a member of Earth's only police against alien forces outside of the general populace' understanding. An organization that not even any official government is aware of, they call themselves ZX, Absolute Xenos(Zettai Xenos).

The foreigner explains that Ichika has just come into possession of an alien weapon that has been passed down throughout their organization ever since they had obtained it from their parent organization, the Sasword Zecter. He calls Ichika Kamen Rider Sasword and reintroduces himself as kamen rider Kabuto.

Considering Laura's personality is split, should her second shift have 2 one off abilities as well? One for each personality or should I treat it as one only?

Well, depend on what factor is required for OOA construction, if it's purely psychological, then more than one OOA is possible.

While I have a slight spark of a pessimist within me that barely anyone would pay attention to details in my fic, I'm still trying to make sure the drone attacks on the IS bases worldwide are timezone-accurate.

Then there's also other details like which drone should attack which base, as you may have noticed as to how the drone replica of a German IS is attacking a French IS base.

Is it a legitimate reason to go crazy and swear genocide when you learn that your normal life was taken away to make you participate in a war that turned out to actually be a huge conspiracy experiment to create the ultimate weapon?

^ At that point I'd think less about losing my shit and instead learning more about that weapon.

In this case, it's the IS the only survivor is using...
