A's, episode one, Vita smashing one of her projectiles into the light surrounding Nanoha (hinting that its during her transformation and it isn't quite complete yet), causing it to explode, then charging in for the attack using Graf Eisen.

No, I remember something among the lines of Nanoha finishing her transformation as the projectile is heading towards her. I guess I should rewatch that scene sometime soon to figure it out.

Yeah, we see the whole transformation acted out. What I'm saying is that perhaps Vita's attacking as she's transforming. After all, the light's still around Nanoha when that projectile hits said light and causes it to explode.

That would be an interesting thing. Of course, knowing the series, the ball would probably hit Nanoha just as she's holding Raising Heart in her hand and lifting it up.

No. Need's to have a more or less clear outline, otherwise when I 'cut it out' of the flat background, bits of the clothing there that get light shining on it will get cut out as well.
Plus I need at least two opposing sides in the frame, prefferably all of her in the frame so I can place her anywhere in the aircraft image.

EDIT: The second one doesn't have a flat background, it has a gradient. I could clean the spell pattern up with an eraser, but I can't magic-wand that cream color gradient without making a total mess. (That image would have to go in the lower right corner of whatever I slap it on.)

Shit. There really isn't a whole lot of Signum images on Danbooru that meet that criteria.

That being said, this was the only other one I found... dunno if it'll work, though.
