Yeah I remember that slice...That is the reason why it is so hard to attach yourself to any of the characters. I don't like to box in comlete darkness.

I don't think that would determine a Kamui's gender. I mean, Senketsu is a girl's uniform, but has a male voice. Until then, we can certainly assume Junketsu can talk like Senketsu, as it's definitely alive. But if I had to guess why we haven't heard Junketsu speak yet, it's because Satsuki can't hear it, or isn't letting herself hear it.

And if they ever give Junketsu a voice, it'd be crazy if they got another voice actor from an anime Imaishi worked on. My money's on Tetsuya Kakihara.

True, but then again, Senketsu has some more masculine features than Junketsu does. Its name (Fresh Blood), its more rough and ragged appearance (like the eye patch, the straps, the holster, etc) do give him a more masculine vibe, despite being a sailor uniform.

On the other hand, Junketsu is a more immediately masculine type of uniform, but I feel like it has a more feminine vibe about it than Senketsu does. It's graceful, smooth and a more feminine type of name.

But yeah, Satsuki is probably ignoring Junketsu right now. It'll be awhile before we find out what its personality is like.

I know it's too soon to tell what Junketsu's gender could be. I just picked Tetsuya Kakihara because I thought it'd be crazy if the guy who played Simon from Gurren Lagann would play a presumably villainous character, or at least one who's aligned with the bad guys.

Anyway, another pretty good episode that continues to flesh things out some more. Mako episode next week. I expect laughter and Hallelujah choruses.
