KyoAnime@irc.rizon.net is still looking for Japanese to English translators/Timers/Type Setters/Encoders. Were able to get any raw of any current series out, so if you join us we can choose the series we wish!

Contact me on #KyoAnime @ irc.rizon.net with the name Shonokai. The more group members the better! Were a new group just starting off, and soon enough we will gain popularity once we start getting things released.

We may be looking for Distro to, but it'd need to be rooted bots, if anyone can provide fast bots that'd be good to(if not I can take care of bots).

Need Older Raws

Group: Sailor Spork Productions
chobitex@hotmail.com

Looking for raw providers for older titles:
-VS Knights Lamune & 40 FIRE (VS騎士ラムネ&40 炎)
-Cutey Honey (original 1973 version).

We could also use translators, at least for Cutey Honey (since Lamune will basically be a remaster / edit of HECTO's old 'subbed from low quality 5th generation japanese TV source' version), but we need raws first. DVD-rips prefered, but I won't be picky. In Lamune's case, anything with no tracking lines and static would be a vast improvement...

So how do you suppose people get translators then?

Should we ask in a forum that might be frequented by translators... Nah that doesn't make any sense. Maybe we should throw a penny in the wishing well and wish for a translator!

There are a few cost-effective (^_^) ways to obtain translators.

1. Get a gf/bf who is Japanese.
2. Find a friend.
3. Farm them. (surprised no one has tried this)
4. Learn by yourself.

But you said that you already have a few. =O Let's not get greedy now, a few is enough for a few series. I'm sure you'll survive. Anyways, there are too many groups out there already, why add to the mess?

Talking Need help!

Hey there! I'm one of the founders of a new fansub group called Anime-BT... it's just a month old, however since were just starting we need new members typesetters, timers and translators specially... raw providers would help but not necesary. Also a time to time encoder (not an oficcial one since i do all the encoding but another backup one would help a lot) we have some proyects on mind but we need help ^^

We don't ask for particular qualities just the wish to do it well and have fun. the only catch, no dial up please. besides that if u wanna test ur skill it's fine by me.

Anyone interested go send me a pm. or go to our webpage (link at the botton) or get into irc channel (won't post it here to prevent spammers) but the link is also in the webpage. www.anime-bt.com thanks!

Still looking for a providor for these raws, but also looking for a provider for raws for CLAMP's music videos "Double X" and "CLAMP in Wonderland" since we already did "Wish." Looking to fill out the set, but raws for these are rare.
