My Maid is a Formless Entity (Novel)
"The sounds of the giant birds pursued the two through the passage. "Tekeli-li! Tekeli-li!" they cried. "Tekeli-li!"
-H.P. Lovecraft, At the Mountains of Madness Spoiler for Cover of Volume 1:
This novel, called Uchi no Meido ha Futeikei in Japanese, seems to be a pretty little known one. Hmm ... well, just noticed this today on baka-tsuki (I hope there is not another thread on this - if so please feel free to merge!), and began reading it. It's ... umm ... basically ... well. Weird. And I kinda like it, though I don't know where it is going. Anybody else following this series? ^^ Hmm ... here is another image for folks: Spoiler for Another image put in spoiler tage for size:
Anyone interested to check out some of the other illustrations should look here.

She actually is a Cthulian style gelatinous creature a little like the "slime girl" in the Daily Life with a Monster Girl manga appearance wise in her original form but that can take human form, and she has that lovely, super-helpful and polite personality that anime maids are usually portrayed possessing. (Saying things like "we are honored to hear your words of praise", for example.)
It seems that one way she cleans is by transforming into something like an rpg gelatinous cube to fill up an entire room, for example. Like I said ... weird.

Hmm ... was wondering about the blond figure. Thanks for the info.
But yeah - the maid is able to do a lot more things other than I initially expected. And maybe that's also what lends my curiosity to some of the series so far. ^^

Not sure tbh - but definitely the assumed backdrop is cthulic (is that a word). Don't want to "spoil" things too, too much.
The chapter I linked in the first post is actually a pretty quick read (compared to other novel tl's at least, imo) - so you might give it a whirl.
