True. After all, a lack of sexual progress didn't hurt Ranma 1/2.
For me, the issue is that there are so many unexplored possibilities. It's like enjoying a great meal at a friend's house and smelling fantastic foods being cooked in the kitchen, but waiting endlessly for it to be served. Even though the meal is great, it is overshadowed by anticipation. Oh well. I'm keeping myself occupied by reading Discommunication. Ueshiba didn't hesitate to serve up that meal. XD |

I, for one, don't think the manga his lived up to its potential since that fiasco started, and that was almost two years ago! Among other things, from the get-go. Thanks for the warning! I haven't read chapter 80 yet, but I haven't liked Oka since, well, it's been so long I don't remember when. Her presumptuous meddling always ticked me off. Whatever she does, it won't be for Urabe's benefit, rather, it will typically be for her own amusement. |

This chapter was about as surprising as buying my own birthdaypresent
knew what was gonna happen in the end by the first few pages Then why the hell am I still disappointed (and miffed) the writer didn't use the chance to push one of 2 issues that could progress the story Spoiler for like:
To sum it up: Oh, for bloody hell's sake,... Come ON!!

Chapter 80: Mysterious Fireworks
What's more interesting than reading this chapter is reading all the comments at the beginning of this thread. Oh, how enthusiastic people were about this manga back six years ago. Where are those enthusiasts now?
I guess the only reason I keep reading this series (after suffering through eleven months of "The Movie") is because I know that Tusbaki will never make in progress in his relationship with Urabe, and I will be able to complain about it after reading each new chapter. |

I have read it since the very first chapter comes out and I love it as much today as I did when I read the first chapter (or the zeroth chapter to be more precise)
If you want to read it just to complain then boy do you need a new hobby (I have heard going outside for a walk is fun but I rarely have tried it lol) It is what it is and if you don't appreciate it for that it's your lookout Spoiler for if there is any one who cares...:

Now, I'm not reading it to complain, but it's not like it's giving us anything else "Keep 'em hungry" isn't the same as "leave 'em starving" a story should advance, not leave you hanging like your last GF not to mention the 'odd' timeline, the fact that summervacations feel as if they only last 1 day (but do occur 3 times a year) I know how this Manga is gonna pan out: Urabe IS an alien and is experimenting on human emotions with Tsubaki! her advanced powers enable time to skimp and jump back and forward also, she doesn't have a vagina and if she kisses, her alien cells will swallow tsubaki whole

I love this series, but I have to admit, it's been spinning its wheels for a while now. King of like Pastel, another series that started out good, but just kept going with no progress or end in sight. Eventually, that just gets boring.
Though, it could be worse. At least it has stayed true to its genre and hasn't turned into a generic action series like R+V and forgot where it came from... Or turned into some dark pervert fantasy like Umi no Misaki (both of which I dropped). I still enjoy reading this whenever it comes out.
