Now to change the subject to something a little less droll.

I'm thinking that since the series has already established the "DxD" and everything how much longer do you guys think the series is gonna last? Personally I'd give it 3-4 more novels before we say goodbye to Issei and the crew as the main characters.

The story has reached it's climax since Great Red is in the mix and the official leadership of the Khaos Brigade have already come into play with their intentions. Ishibumi himself said that the final mythology to be introduced will be Sakra's. So I ask.

How many novels are left? Personally I think there's no more that 3-5 novels counting side story ones.
Will Issei finally get laid in his 3rd year of high school? Issei will probably not get laid during the confines of the story.
Will Xenovia become the Class president? Probably not. Since Saji has the "full support" of the girls in his harem.
Who will take over as ORC president? Either Kiba or Koneko.
How will the final battle play out... and who is going to die? I see Azazel, Vali, Ophis and Sirzechs dying by the end of the novels.

Judging by how this arc is going, it might be vol 20 where rizviem finally gets killed

Ending the series at about vol 24-25 might just be right, long enough to continue the story till Ise graduates and gets promoted to ultimate class devil and complete the shiva arc

Maybe 666 is just a mass of evil powers that while having its own will, has no physical form that rizviem plans to fuse with himself to become strong enough to defeat great red

speaking of which, maybe one effect of ise's new body would allow him to fuse with other dragons, Ise and Vali fusion (dragon ball Z style) to fight Rizviem????

Since, I believe that the novels are still quite popular in Japan ... I believe that Ishibumi is going to be forced to use his last resort after the current arc is over.

Assuming that he doesn't have any other plans that go beyond the issues that the current arc is going to bring.

Since, after all I think that Ishibumi has already proven to us that he can be quite unpredictable.

So, I believe that we still have a few years remaining, till we see the end of the novels and I also believe that the current arc is going to have more volumes dedicated to it, compared to the previous ones - so

Now regarding to the question of Ise being laid ... I believe that Ise will finally graduate from his virginity ... although due to the publisher / editors nothing explicit is going to be shown - we will just get an epilogue that will show how Ise's children with each of the girls look like.

Regarding the final battle of the current arc, I think that it will look similar to the battle against Loki, but the stakes are going to be a lot higher, and I also doubt that anyone is going to die in that fight, since I don't think that DxD is the kind of series where major character deaths would occur - or at least they don't stick, which was proven in Ise's 'second death' moment.

Well he was the main character so if someone honestly thought he'd stay dead they'd be a few IQ points short of average. The final battles usually have people dying to escalate the drama and raise the stakes. For some reason the two that stick out the most in losing their lives are Ophis and Azazel, which sucks because I'm right waay more than I'm wrong in these things.

I doubt that Ophis is going to die, after the author has decided to change her fate, after seeing her lovely illustration.

Azazel ... is possible, but I hope that it won't happen, since I like his Mad Scientist moments.

but i don't remember it being mentioned anywhere the nords we're able to do that? remember odin is an old man so maybe rossweisse's granny will look like a granny?
for that matter do the nords even have long lifespans? odin is obvious since he's a god but the other nords?

Since it has been mentioned in the novels that Valkyrie's are half gods, I think some of the nords have an increased lifespan.

Although, there is nothing confirming if they can change their appearance / retain their youth like the Devil race.

If I remember correctly Mil-tan already went to the other world(or is it dimension) to ask for changing her/him/it to a magical girl in volume 1, so why do Rizevim need to unseal 666 and fight off with Great Red. He could just asked Mil-tan the way to go there lol
