It seems that Soma is going to have date with Rindou in Elite 1 booth. It should be good opportunity for us to witness his power. Soma's ability to make friend is simply ridiculous. Kuga and Rindou somehow had became his friend. Also, I wonder why the Elite 1 doesn't accept Soma's proposal for a shougeki as he did with Kuga before? It would be nice to see him 5-0 Soma. The hilarious part of this battle was ended with no winner as both of them were frustrated for different things.

By the way, Rindou left a greater impression for me than Erina's dad did

Was he even a first seat in the previous year? Boobs sempai was second seat a year ago so maybe the order was a little bit different, if you think about that then maybe Tsukasa(in a lower seat) wanted to teach Kuga a lesson before he entered the elite ten.

Considering that she might be related to him, and depending on how, I am sure that ship might be sank with that revelation anyway.

Also I am not really interested in seeing Souma lose to Kuga 5-0. Its already pretty ridiculous as it, that Erina was a elite seat from the get go, to have him get destroyed by Kuga would make the power gap unfeasible large. If anything Id rather see go against the first seat and maybe squeek out a 4-1 lose.

Also considering his dad was only the 2nd seat, and Souma is MC, and all that, he has to end the manga as the best, so with people like his dad, the alumni around, he honestly can't really be that inferior to students in terms of skill otherwise it would be realistic from him to top those stronger people eventually.

I will honestly never get why cousins are treated as strangers, even 1st cousins, considering first cousins basically share half their blood through siblings. Eh but to each own.

In Japan, cousins being married to each other is considered okay. And in the Islamic religion as well, marriage for two people of indirect blood relation of any kind is also considered okay. That includes cousins, too, whether our own or those who are cousins of either of our parents. Cousins are indirectly blood related to one another, so it's not like they're really siblings.

guys, I just had a random thought...so far it seems like the author isn't doing much with erina right? What if he had actually been slowly giving clues as to what sort of story he will be writing for erina's arc? I mean, she is the 10th seat of the Elite Ten which (according to the story) is quite an impressive feat especially when considering that she is still in her first year of highschool but I feel thats her limit, at least presently cause its not as if there are no cases of people achieving their goal then not know where to go next (e.g: Shinomiya) and I feel her attitude/philosophy towards cooking somewhat indicates this (how she believes cooking has to be perfect and how she believes she is #1 among those of her generation) add to that the fact that she has no one she wants to compete against makes it quite clear that if the time comes for the story to focus on her it'd be when she realises that she has hit a bottleneck. I think that maybe this will happen when they are all in their second year and (personally thinks that) Soma and the others might be in the Elite Ten by then and she would be stuck at 10th still

yeah, he was, most people who aren't Megumi fan realized this fact.

I don't see how her attitude and philosophy relate to her limit or more like u don't understand her character
She has a goal which is like Souma and lots of characters: to be number 1 in Totsuki.
She never thought she is the best of her generation, other people (like Gin) thought so.

About competing part, we still have no detail about that, but I wonder if she wants to have shokugenki with other sempai or I really want to know how she has the 10th seat
Was it Erina herself challenged 10th seat sempai or the oposite?
