I was not impressed with the ending. I am kind of upset I watched all 13 episodes. Unless there is a second season, this show was pretty redundant with no real character development

Ending was under decency. Not that I was expecting who knows what of a resolution, but at least an actual confession, something over the trite silly pseudo-romanticism (I'm not even saying a kiss!), but no, nothing.
Just a bunch of cards shuffled as more conveniently as it happened, and unlikely happenings with some of the most unlikely parents ever seen (usually parents are cut off directly, why not to do the same here after all?).

It's a shame, because the series gave quite of an interesting feeling, especially in the episodes in the middle, and was even heartwarming at times (in the melodramatic sense, but I still liked it). And funny, on the predictable side and not on Midori no Hibi levels, but funny.

Overall though, I absolutely don't regret having watched this. I actually enjoyed the silly and relaxing pace, with the bonus fanservice, for most of the time. Also nice songs (especially the Ending Theme). The series hadn't high aims, so I hadn't high expectations. And just a sharper ending would have made a fairly better result.

Glad to see the ending. Liked the topic of the show covering their relationship and how it affected those they knew from ep1 to ep13. It stayed G rated even with the flashy-ness of some ep.s 4 - 8.
You know, getting involved with someone 'special' usually does not take but 1 or 2 interests each have no matter how different each try to be. They covered it well.

Didn't really like it. Started off well, and thought that it was quite funny, but then the same thing kept dragging on over and over again and it just seemed lame to me. I was hoping for an ending with some deeper meaning, but was rather disappointed. It ended where it started...no win here.

Start of the show was promising, after all, a perverted male lead has previously been a "hit" for me (He is My Master), plus high-quality animation, so this should be fun.
While it did deliver some truly funny scenes, and a healthy dose of fan service, so no complaints there. But the lack of material in the romance department (and this is serious!) and the lack of, well, story or character development puts this series on "average" category.

this may make me sound like a hentai, but then is it me or did I just noticed during the airport scene that the little blonde girl in the show (Nana) got some abnormally big size boobs for her age.

Well the show started off well but by the end it felt like they ran out of ideas or something and it kinda just slumped over the finish line.

Oh well aside from a weak ending I can honestly say it had enough genuinely fun and enjoyable scenes to make it feel like it was worth watching.

I don't feel so bad waiting for the last 3 eps (11-13) to be subbed although I was really looking forward to the drama that 11 was going to bring. The show has an interesting premise, but it overuses the same jokes and gags and barely stutters to the end. Even though Yuuji is sad/pathetic I really disliked how Kazuki treated him and essentially wanted him to become like her teacher. I somewhat feel that Kazuki isn't good enough for him

I would have preferred a bad ending or even a time skip ending, since the final scenes are very typical/cliched. All Kazuki had to do was apologize for treating Yuuji like crap even though she forgot everything about him then everything is dandy.. but she didn't even have to apologize since Yuuji essentially understood / accepted everything and thus nullifies all the jealousy Kazuki put him through.

Kinda reminds me of Suzuka... boo!

I watched the series.... I like the whole series.
But got to agree, the ending was so-so.
This usually happends to series that are so short.

Although I finished it long time ago but this anime has only 2 good things about it.

Spoiler:

1) The over-all plot was very nice, where the main character "forgot" the ecchi part of her childhood crush, a good idea.
2) In ep7 (if I remember) where they did the "after 3 years" trick, it was really good.
But aside of a nice lead male character, this show is similar to Kashimashi, where both had a great start, but Kashimashi was degrading in the middle while Tonagura kept its quality. But in the end, both fell into the well of bad endings.

So in general, a 7/10 would be enough for everything except the ending.

Yes they are huge compared to her age. You can also observe that during the beach episode where the girls were dressing. Yes I'm a hentai but I can't help my sharp eyes.....

I just finsihed this series last night (for some reason, I missed it when it first came out). While I agree with the general consensus that the ending could have been better, I thought overall it was a fun and enjoyable series. Not a classic by any means, but I definely found it worth watching.

I've just finished watching the series. and yes, the ending is garbage. i mean nothing change, back to square 1, no real character development. i feel kinda cheated. the producers leading me on, to see a much better character, in the end smashed everything to our faces........... Overall animation quality is good. it just crashed badly near the end.

Wow, that ending was a let down..please, could someone tell me I'm too old for this one and therefore not part of the targeted audience? I wonder who on earth would call that an satisfying ending pfff, even my adventures from 10 years ago were more terrific probably it's too early in the story(no manga reader), but even so the scene at the airport would have been the perfect moment for starting some real drama. I feel so dumb right now as my high expectations were something about Kazuki visiting Yuuji at night, of course in an proper outfit, to offer an apology after realizing what she had forgotten about her first love

Chihaya remaining single is also a bit odd but I guess that's bound to the manga, same for Hatsune, although my money is on a implied HatsunexSensei pairing.
