In FSN yes but Archer is a counter guardian for goodness sake...Surely the counter guardian is most famous than the legendary heroes.....in their own time of course.

Erm...sorry to interrupt but actually all servants are counter guardians...When a hero dies they go to the throne of heros, and whenever the world is in danger, a copy of them is sent out to destroy that which would destroy the world. These copies are called counter guardians.

In the third, the HG put rules up for the counter guardians and summon them into the world forcefully, these counter guardians binded by the HG and is called servants.

As long as their original identity is that of a hero, yes, even Medusa. The world does not distinguish between good and evil and as long as they're legendary, copies of them can be sent out as counter guardians depending on the situation.

Yes. Therefore, the spirits which entered the throne of heros are not counter guardians, but the copies sent out are(or else they won't be able to take form)

Originally it only summons positive heros(not because it's holy, but only because it only has the elements required to summon positive heros). Summoning of evil servants only happened after the 3rd HG war, when angra mainyu(wow I said it right for the first time) was defeated, entered the grail and tainting the contents of it.

Avenger, a.k.a. Angry Mayo. The spirit of destruction, pure evil, corruption, anything negative you name it, and add them all together in Blendtec's Total Blender and blend at 600rpm and 1500Watts, and out you get Angry Mayo. It was a servant summoned by the Einbern in the third HG war in their desperate attempt to win. Unfortunately they failed, with Avenger being the first to defeated on the 4th day, the HG treated it as a normal servant and absorbed the spirit to recycle the mana. However since Avenger is full of evil it tainted the HG, and thus evil servants started appearing since the 4th HG war.

No. The HG is just a container. The effect of it is granted when it is filled with the mana from 7 dying servants(when servants are defeated, instead of dispersing back to the air, they actually flow back to the HG). The spirit of Angry mayo is part of the contains in it, in F/SN and F/HA.

Than why dose Angry start the infinite 4 day loop? Or could a dead Lancer grant a wish also?

For me, a battle between Archer, Rin and Saber.

Archer's cool attitude, something I really like very much but although we saw some development with him especially just before his epic death, I feel there wasn't really enough screentime for me to like him the most.

Rin. Her backstory is very thin but what she is *now* is totally awesome. Smart, independent and caring (although she doesn't like to admit it), her personality is probably the best out of all characters in this series. Rin would be my favourate on totally positive grounds but my heart is somewhere else for some reason...

...yes, the character which took my heart is Saber. It must be a combination of many things. She does have a good personality (although inferior to Rin's), and it seems the most attention was given to Saber regarding art, character design and costume. The soundtrack played during her flashbacks are my favourates. So good personality and stunning beauty as well as giving off some kind of godly aura.

With my totally irrational, normative and subjective thinking, my vote goes for Saber.

It was after the HG was destroyed in Fate route, there came F/HA. Because Shirou destroyed the container of the HG, the gate was left partially open and the contents(Angra Mainyu's spirit) leaked out. Lancer's original master, Bazett, wished to be saved, and this gave Angra Mainyu a chance to make a pact with her and was summoned as Avenger.

We've seen the Tsun side in the anime but not much dere, presumably because of the Fate route rather than UBW. I've seen some game cgi of Rin going very Dere.
