Weren't you paying attention? If she's found out to be a girl she'll get in trouble. She was sent there as a publicity stunt for her father's company and at the same time to steal information on Ichika. She'll get expelled if the secret comes to public for fraud.

Well for starters,

She's a boy because they want to get Charles as close as possible to Ichika.

Now that she's a girl's been revealed, the school wouldn't let Charles get anywhere near Ichika at all. Plus I'm pretty sure it'll be a huge embarrasment on Frances' part for sending in a fraud like that.

Good god, if someone told me in advance Charlotte was going to become super likable/cute after the "reveal" I would have doubted it. She earned quite a lot of points in this episode: Nice personality, figure, voice, EVERYTHING.

Talking about the reveal, I liked how neither her or Ichika overreacted during the shower scene. She simple stood there covering herself and Ichika very normal "Here is the soap"

The info regarding Chifuyu's past was also nice, now it is clear why Laura has that heavy grudge towards Ichika.

Next week: Finally we get to see the Schwarzer Regen in action, after the warm up against Charlotte. Rin and Cecilia couldn't coordinate as a team before so...

This dark horse just appeared... even though I knew she was a girl the whole time, she's just vaulted to top stop and beyond.

The nice thing is Charlotte can actually evoke a reaction out of Ichika... although that may be just temporary because of the shock/bathroom incident, but it's nice to see Ichika actually act like there's a girl in front of him.

Other than that, good episode. Nice to see more back story on Ichika, Chifuyu, Charlotte and Laura. Clearly Chifuyu is a believer in tough love, but her care shines through.

I'd like to see the explanation for Laura's eye. Maybe she's a cyborg? Maybe that's her scouter?

Charles... Just WoW o_O! This whole ep was a complete re-introduction of her.

As for that german chick. It just makes me upset that sometimes anime has the stupidest situations in them. This girl cannot realize the importance her teacher puts into her brother and the importance in that! Instead of having a fit about ichika she should be even more happy about the way her teacher acted regardless of the tournament... Yet sigh... I wonder how ichika will turn her heart like he has done with the others.

Wow I though I was gonna come in here and make fun of ichika again but I liked this episode. Charlotte was great and I was greatly pleased to not see the whole situation overdone like this anime seems to like doing. Kind of funny, the weirdest thing to happen yet to ichika, yet the only one he had a normal reaction for.

Compared to all the other women who fight over that blithering idiot day in and day out Charles is at least being more subtle and nice about it. No overt aggression or arguments with everyone else but doing it at her own pace and her own style. She already has the added advantage of rooming in with him.

I mean seriously you have to give her points for successfully convincing him to feed her with the look and the voice, though I suspec that's KanaHana's work all her own. He might have the dense idiotcy of a straiight man but no matteer how dense you are no straight man can resist something like thaat. That's some sly work forafrenchomgHHHNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
