Thanks a lot!
This would be from The Skull Man.

Boxcutters?

Which anime is best known for boxcutters? I've heard references to this before but can't figure out what it's about. I would appreciate anyone helping me out, thanks.

Kanon has a scene involving a character going at it with boxcutters and so does Shuffle!. At least, those are the first two that come to mind when someone makes mention of that general sort of theme.

Effectual? Best guess Shuffle!. Though I don't know Kanon well enough to give that half of the account.

It is just whenever someone refers to "Boxcutter Mode" it tends to be towards Shuffle!.

Yeah, definitely Shuffle!, I really doubt it's in reference to Kanon.

@Geta Boshi: Your image isn't displaying. I tried the link directly and it's like the image isn't even there.

You don't believe the name or you don't believe the screenshot is real?

I've googled a bit and taken the following info from this site.

Quote:
Another character have been announced for the upcoming Soul Calibur IV for PS3 and 360. This is another character created by a guest designer. This time from an anime character creator/director Hirokazu Hisayuki, famous for his works in "Mai-HiME/My-OtoHiME" projects and "Future GPX Cyber Formula" projects.

The new character's name is "Kamikirimusi", and she is a living survivor of the Japanese Demon race. How her story is tied to the Soul Calibur world and whether she will appear in the story mode is still unknown.

Help Identifying Anime

When I was in the second grade (1975) I saw an anim้ feature on TV that I've never seen or heard of again. I don't know if it's any good or not, but I remember liking it as a 7 year old. Here's what I remember:

• I saw it in 1975
• The villain is a vampire-like guy who shoots wafts of yellow light at people to kill them.
• The main character, a boy, has a necklace with an amulet that provides immunity
• The look and feel is like, "The Boy who Saw the Wind"
• I believe it uses the corny Kingston Trio song "They Call the Wind Mariah"

Does anyone know what this is?

The character is Tsugumi Komachi from the visual novel, Ever 17: The Out of Infinity.

thank you, but it doesn't seem that one. the design is completely different... more like a TV animated movie...
I remember that the old man pretending to have magical powers (in reality, merit of the gem) is the bad guy, with a long beard...
