Chapter: 2

Dracul, Raven, and Tyrath looked up at the old castle walls that stood on the mountain while surrounded by so many trees. Instead of wasting time and hiking up the mountain Dracul allowed his wings to open up. The torn up cloak he was wearing was moved aside as his large dark grey bat like wings opened up.

"Feels good to stretch every now and then."

Raven did the same and his bat like wings spread out as he got ready to fly.

Tyrath looked at them confused. "So I guess I'll see you later?"

They both looked at him.

"I don't have wings remember?"

"Just meet up with us later." Dracul said jumping up and flapping his wings.

"Yeah you already had to much fun for one day." Raven said following Dracul.

They flew over the mountain and looked at the old castle, it was breaking apart in some places and looked like it hadn't been touched by a human hands in ages. Raven landed at the front gate which was broken open. His hot headed personality started to take over as he wanted to find out what was inside first. Dracul landed behind the castle where their was much more of a forest, and around him old grave stones. He was in a graveyard.

"Don't get to see very much of this where I am from." He thought as he walked in the back entrance.

Raven folded his wings and walked in, the place had no roof for most part of the castle. The stone floor had been breaking apart and grass had now covered most of it. Their was stairs to his right and he walked up them. They were made out of stone as well, he walked down a dark hall as his red glowing eyes lit up the area.

"Who is there?!"

He stopped at the sound of the voice. "Depends, who wants to know?"

Raven looked down the hall and saw three pairs of glowing black eyes looking back at him.

He started to laugh. "If you are trying to scare me it isn't working!"

"You aren't afraid of us?"

"No, infact I have seen much scarier people from where I am from then a few witches."

He looked at the three pale women, and their black dresses. "What is your name!" One of them asked.

"That was rude. Oh well, I guess it can't be helped. Only if you tell me yours, I am Raven."

"I like that name, I am Amaia."

"I am Daray."

"And I am Misty."

"Yeah the three of you sound like which's?"

"We are vampires." The three of them said at the same time as they licked their lips.

"Vampires again? Tell me how does this all work?"

"We are going to make you one of us!" Amaia hissed charging Raven.

Raven smirked and ran his right clawed hand threw her torso. She coughed up blood and he threw her to the ground. "Really? Are you sure about that?" He said as the claws at the end of his fingers grew cutting the insides of her body apart.

"Amaia!" Misty screamed as her sister bit the dust.

The two other sisters ran at him, as he ran at them. They opened their mouths ready to sink their two fangs in him, but all they got were two claws going down each others throats.

"That was easy." Raven thought watching them die. "I wonder where Dracul went?"

In another part of the old castle Dracul found himself in a throne room. Sitting on one of the thrones was another lady. "Oh and who do I have to honour me this time? I don't reconize you."

Dracul stared at her pale body that was covered by a dark robe and by her long ravenous hair. This in a way was how she caught all her male victoms.

"You must entertain a lot of human men?" Dracul asked.

"Yes, but I see that you are not human and that your two friends have killed four of my siblings."

"What are you talking about?"

"You see when someone is turned into a vampire they become related to the one that did it."

Dracul didn't understand.

"My name is Desdomona, why don't you stick around Dracul for the others to return."

"How do you know my name?!"

"I'm a lot stronger than the three girls that Raven killed, and the man that Tyrath killed. You see when a vampire kills enough victoms it becomes telepathic, and I can tell what you want right now."

Dracul stood still as she made her way over to him, her hands felt his body moving up and down. Her hypnosis that she was putting him in looked like it was working.

"Now I'll just need your blood." She said letting out a soft hiss.

He let out a small groan as he realized it was to late. He had just become another victom for her.

"Wait?! What the hell?!" Desdomona screamed as she stopped and pulled her fangs out of his neck.

She felt the blood she had just sipped out of him starting to burn her insides as it made its way down to her stomach.

"I guess you have never had dragon kin before?"

She held her throat as it started to burn. "What are you?!" She screamed falling to the ground. "Its like some sort of poison..."

Dracul felt his neck healing and smiled. "Well I guess you can see what I am before you die."

She watched in horror as his body started to change, it grew. His face started to snout, horns grew from his head, his skin became dark and armoured as so did his wings. He grew breaking the walls of the old castle down which made the sunlight shine in.

"No stop!" She screamed as it started to burn her.

Tyrath watched from the bottom of the mountain as the place broke apart. "Way to go guys." He said only to feel a sharp pain in the back of his right shoulder. "Ack! Who did that?!"

He forced himself to turn around only to see a very beautiful woman standing behind him. A long sharp and twisted blade came out from behind her right shoulder. He winced as he looked at her. Her brown hair was long and just at her waist, as she looked like she was wearing old leather clothing that torn up all over. She was wearing an overcoat but had thrown it to the ground.

Her green eyes caught his red eyes attention. "I know you." She said pulling the blade out of his back and lodging it back in her body.

"I don't know who you are!"

The woman took one of her hands and stroked her long hair with the leather glove that she was wearing. "I guess I have changed a lot since the last time Tyrath?"

Tyrath look at her face until it finally came back to him. "Wait you were one of the women that showed up to help us defeat the dragon lords in my country. Your Clare! What happened? You look so different."

"In a good way?"

"Well all except for that strange blade that came out of your back."

Then Dracul and Raven landed on the ground next to Tyrath.

Clare looked at them. "I see so you are here too."

"Hey who is this woman?" Dracul asked.

"Its Clare, remember her?"

"I thought I felt your yoki Dracul. You did me a favor and got rid of those vampires for me. To bad not all of them were there, the stronger ones will be angry when they find out."

"Clare." Dracul said getting her attention. "Before I ask about these vampires, I would like to know something. You have awakened haven't you?"

"Yes. Why, are you going to kill me now?"

"Only if I have to." Dracul muttered. "Now, tell us what these vampires are and how they work."

"Its kind of a long story, but they are monsters a lot smarter than yoma. They used to be human, once they suck a humans blood that human turns into a vampire or dies. Depending on how much blood is taken. I don't know how it all started but I figure they are like ants, step on the queen and the rest die. Its the same idea for vampires, kill the leader and the rest will fall."

"Is that all?" Dracul asked.

"No, one more thing. They usually don't like the sunlight plus they seem to be getting stronger all the time." Clare said as another woman walked behind her. "Hi Miria, look at who came to visit us."

Dracul, Raven, and Tyrath looked at her now. She was still wearing leather like clothing, her hair was now dark brown along with her eyes. "Miria have you awakened to?!" Dracul shouted.

"Yes I have."

"What about the others?" Raven asked.

"I dont know." Miria said starting to turn away as Clare fallowed her.

"Wait!" Tyrath yelled. "Do you know where Clarice is?!"

Miria and Clare looked back at him. "Their is a large city in the middle of the continent called Rabona, try there first." Miria said as they both dissapeared in the thick forest.


* * *

Rabona.

Irene and her hunting sqwaud which consisted of Cynthia, Tabitha, and Helen were ready to move out once again only to be stopped by Galatea and Clarice.

"What is it Galatea?" Irene asked.

Galatea smiled. "We need to go west."

Irene who was still tightening the straps that held her leather outfit together looked at her in confusion. "Why?!"

"We have to get our three dragon kin allies that have just appeared."

"You mean those three are back!" Helen screamed. "Yes Irene we need to go west!"

Irene hesitated for a moment. "Alight then, Galatea go and change into your hunting attire. Same for you Clarice, and Clarice..."

"Yes Irene?"

"Why don't you go get Beth she can come to, and get that new girl that we just brought here. Her name is Dietrich."

After ten minutes of waiting, the four other half breeds returned to the location outside of the main gate. The group now made of eight were ready for yet another adventure, which this time they were hoping no one would die this time around. An hour later they were gone, leaving the holy city almost volnerable.

Two hours later.

Now in the city a person wearing a black hooded cloak moved in. He was surrounded by the gaurds as he would not stop for them when they asked for his reasons for entering the city. Instead the dark hooded figure looked at the gate, his black eyes opened up making a dark blue glow. Then the gaurds were knocked over by an unseen force and so was the gate. The last thing the gaurds saw before they died was two glowing dark orbs underneath the dark hood.

Civilians surrounded the area and watched powerless as the person, or what ever it was creeped into the city. The church was next, again those glowing eyes reappeared and the tall doors entering the church creeked open. Priests, nuns, and bishops inside watched as the figure moved in.

They watched as a pale hand appeared from underneath the dark cloth he was wearing and removed the hood. Everyone that was in the church stepped back, this was a true monster but not like anything they have seen before. His hair was dark along with his black eyes, like an elf his ears pointed, and his pale skin was whiter than the moon itself.

"Finally I am out of the sunlight." He mumbled removing his cloak revealing black silky like clothing covered by small pieces of grey armor. "This place will make a nice home."

One of the fathers stepped to him. "Who are you and what is your reason for being here?!"

"Funny, the same gaurds I killed asked me that too." He said as his eyes went from black to that dark blue again.

Now he was looking directly at the father who had questioned him. "Goodbye." He said in a ruffled voice.

Everyone started screaming in fear as they watched as the man who had questioned him had his head explode for no reason.

"You want to know who I am?!" He yelled in a dark voice. "I am what you have feared the most! I was once a warlock, banned from this city! Then as I was on my travels I met a man who said he could give me more power so that I could come back and take what should be mine."

He stepped forward and was now infront of an old nun. He bit her neck and listened to her scream as she died and her blood poored from her neck like ketchup. "Yes you have heard the stories, I am now one of the undead. A bloodsucker, vampire, cursed human, dark messanger! Whatever you want to call it, but I am taking this city!"

Anyone who had tried to escape couldn't as he used his dark powers once again to lock the doors. In the next few seconds everything was chaos as he started to kill any of the holy ones in that church. He made the insides of the church a gore fest, covering everything with the human blood. He spoke in another language, ancient to the ones the priests had never heard of, it was dark and ruffled almost demonic as he killed more.

"Stop this killing!"

The vampire hissed as he felt something burning his back. "What?!" He turned around only to see an old man. "You!"

"Killing them is one thing but, damning their souls in your cursed warlock speach is another that I cannot allow!"

"Father Vincent its been a long time, time has not been good to you."

The old man looked at him enraged. "Yes well I thought you would have been slain by yoma a long time ago Christopher!"

"I have not heard that name in a long time, I think its funny how you the person who had tried to excorise me would remember that. I now go by a different given name from my master. I am now known as the Reaper!"

"Your a monster and I will kill you!" Vincent yelled holding up a cross.

Reaper smiled and stepped forward. "Did you know that cross you are holding is only iron, your fake beliefs will be your downfall, you dog!"

"It takes a dog to kill a monster!" Vincent shouted grabbing onto a jar of water and throwing it at the vampire infront of him.

Reaper felt it burning his skin. "What is this?! Holy water!"

"Thats right and it will burn you."

Reaper again started to speak in that ancient language he was before and the water quickly stopped burning. "Your a fool Vincent! It takes a man to kill a monster not a dog like yourself!"

Vincent stood there in shock as Reaper lept forward and lashing onto him with his claw like fingers. His eyes became silver and he looked down into father Vincent's soul, soon he let go of Vincent and watched him fall to the ground.

"I guess you weren't a man."

"What a strange turn of events this is." Dracul thought as he and his small group continued their trek to the east.

"Hey Dracul." Raven said getting his attention. "So when that woman vampire or whatever she was tried to drink your blood, it started to burn her?"

"Yes, I'm starting to wonder if they can only drink human blood, or maybe animal blood. Our blood must be like some sort of poison for them, I'm going to take a guess and say they can't drink yoma blood either."

"Thats right." Tyrath said. "When I killed that one guy in that forest back there he said he was above yoma and awakened beings. In other words they can't drink their blood."

Raven raised an eyebrow. "Or they just see themselves as a higher being than them."

They walked out of the bushes they were in and on to a dirt road. "We should be more careful around humans then." Dracul said. "These vampires have some of the same features we do, it would be hard for us to win over the humans trust."

The three of them walked without saying anymore on the empty road for a little longer, only until Tyrath finally got tired of holding something in. "Hey guys, so how long do you think it will be until we meet the others?"

"Not long I think." Raven said. "You two have already used your yoki, and they should have felt it. Who knows maybe they are already travelling our way as we travel to them."

"Tyrath you can stop hiding it, we both know you just want to see Clarice."

Somewhere west of where they were.

It was night time now, and the sky was full of stars. The former warriors were outside of a village, at first they thought it would be alright to stay for the night but the screams of humans being murdered prevented that. Irene and Galatea stood infront of the group wondering what was going on as they saw flames rising from the village. They could not sence yoki, so it wasn't a yoma or awakened being. Could it have been one of their kind? Irene wanted to find out.

Irene and Galatea left the group and went on ahead, some humans trying to escape ran into them.

"Whats going on in there?!" Galatea yelled.

"Monsters!" The woman screamed as Galatea grabbed her arm and pulled her back.

"Is it yoma?"

"No its something worse!"

Galatea looked at the woman noticing that she was starting to cry. She let her go and watched her try to run away in a the field around, but to Galatea and Irene's horror, something had swooped down from the dark sky and picked up the woman, the two warriors each took a step back as they heard the woman scream in pain and then saw her blood falling from the sky as the thing that had taken her flew up higher and higher.

Back on a hill farther away the others in the group watched in shock.

"What was that?!" Helen shouted.

Dietrich paused before she said anything. "I know what that was, I have seen many of them before I was taken by all of you."

Everyone looked at her. "What are they?" Cynthia asked.

"They are worse than yoma or any awakened being I have ever come across. They are more intelligent and blood thirsty, they kill humans and drink their blood but sometimes instead of killing a human they will make the human like them."

Everyone looked at Dietrich in fear of what could happen to them.

"Don't worry." Dietrich said. "They can't drink our blood."

Galatea and Irene walked into the burning village ready for a fight of some sort. They watched several people standing around the buildings, next they watched them fly away.

"They are bats?" Galatea thought.

One of them stayed in the village looking right at them. "Two more victoms?"

Irene and Galatea stayed on guard as their silver eyes met his black glowing eyes.

"Your not humans though, damn I would have liked to turn the two of you into something like me. You could be both of my wives, unlike those ladies behind me they were not enough and I drank everything they had flowing through their veins."

Galatea and Irene noticed several dead bodies behind him, looked like men trying to protect their wives as they were being slaughtered at the same time.

"Galatea, let me deal with this." Irene said walking infront of her.

Irene ran forword using her quicksword, as always it was fast and unseen to the eyes of anyone. Not now however as suddenly it was seen and now the blade was stuck inbetween the human like hands of the monster now a few feet away from her.

"A good trick." He said. "I like mine better."

His eyes went from black to white, and Irene let out a soft wimpering sound as he had struck her so fast with his right hand that it had gone through her torso.

"Irene!" Galatea screamed running into the fight.

She ran quick releasing her yoki and flanking him from the left. She was going to thrust her sword right into his head and end this freeing Irene but all he had to do was look at her. Galatea felt her body freeze, he had done something just now and she couldn't move. No she felt herself starting to levitate off the ground.

"What is this?!"

He pulled his hand from Irene's body and watched her drop to the ground, he looked to his left at Galatea. "Well this is telepathic force, something each bloodsucker learns after enough victoms have been drank away.

He raised his right hand, to Galatea she felt a hand going around her neck and starting to squeeze. He was standing so far back though, she had know idea how he was doing it. His hand never even reached her either.

Irene coughed. "Galatea!"

Irene still had her sword in her hand and quickly sliced off the vampires right leg. He fell on his back confused as Irene slowly got up and Galatea fell in a puddle of human blood.

"No time for last words!" Irene yelled thrusting her sword into his chest.

A few seconds went by and he started to laugh. "Witch you will have to do better than that!"

"Fine." Irene said casually as she chopped his head off.

She watched it tumble into a burning house and limped back to Galatea.

"Are you alright?" Irene asked as her wound started to heal.

"Lets just get out of here and find a stream so I can wash all this blood off of me!"

Irene laughed at how Galatea could start joking around like that so suddenly. "Lets get the others first."

The Reaper stood in the now darkening church, as candles blew out when he walked by them. He knew the sun had gone down and now he could step outside without any type of shield to protect him from burning up. He also knew that soon the city guard would be entering the church wondering why it had suddenly got so silent. He wondered this as he cut off Vincent's head from the body, blood starting falling on the ground once again. Reaper held the head up above him and opened his mouth drinking up all that was pouring out of it.

"Bah!" He yelled tossing the head aside. "Old man blood tastes horrible."

Then he heard banging on the front doors which put a smile on his face. "Looks like I get some younger blood now."

The door crashed down from the gaurds while they had rammed it with a batteringram. Sid was at the front holding his sword, he charged in with many men covered in armor.

Galk came in next drawing a long sword and the others fallowed his lead. "Come out now! We already heard the screams of death today and we know that it had to be an awakened being!"

They heard short laughter in that backround, no it was more of a snicker. "Awakened being you say?"

Then Sid and his men saw it, Reaper walked out of the shadows and down to them showing himself in the moonlight.

"What are you supposed to be?!" Sid yelled holding his sword in a gaurd position.

"Well I'm not an awakened being for one." Reaper said opening his eyes.

Everyone's attention was drawn to his black glowing eyes.

"Thanks for coming to me. You guys will make a good gaurd for me."

Sid stepped back. "What are you saying?!"

The blood thirsty killer infront of Rabona's gaurd hissed and lept forward at them. The men fell back as he grew wings from his sides and connected to his arms like a bats, the men froze even more at this site even for Sid it was to much. Reaper grabbed one of the men with his now talon like feet and picked him up like a bat would do to a moth, he flew up to the ceiling and into the darkness. Next thing everyone heard was a man screaming in pain then the sounds of bones cracking next blood fell to the ground and with it a body.

"Stay on guard everyone!" Galk yelled as they looked up waiting for him to come back down.

"Oh don't worry." Reaper said amused. "I'm not going to kill the rest of you, he was just a good drink. Now I will turn the rest of you into my personal guard!"

He swooped down at them and they tried to cut him with their swords but they just couldn't, for some reason no one could move.

"I see all of you have succumbed to my hypnosis. Now you watch as I turn you all into my slaves, to do my bidding for the rest of time."

Sid watched as the dark bat holding its wings walked towards him. "I would soon rather die!"

"So be it." Reaper said picking up a sword and chopping Sid's head off with it.

The others watched helplessly as his body fell to the ground pumping out blood where the head used to be.

"Sid!" Galk cried. "I'll make you pay!"

"No talking back to me!"

Galk soon found himself on the floor with all of his guts now hanging from the ceiling above him. Their would be nothing left for him but to die now.

Reaper looked at the other men. "You are probably wondering how I did that just now? Of course you are, I killed him with my mind and all of you can do it to if you become my guards."

The other remaining ten men that had stormed the church all nodded their heads in fear. For this was making their true colours show, which made Reaper change his mind.

"Sorry I have no room for cowards."

The candles in the church were full of oil, something that would burn easily. Reaper with his telepathic abilities made the oil float in the air and then land on the young warriors. A still burning candle had been lifted into the air and floated over to the men.

"I will enjoy your screams of terror." Reaper said starting to laugh as the burning candle dropped into the oil.

He watched as the men burned and screamed in pain, it made him laugh, he hoped he could kill off the whole city in just one night now. Yes he would make it burn and he would have a lot more victoms.

"Oh this is fun." He said as he watched the burning bodies fall to the floor.

A few seconds went by and he started to laugh. "Witch you will have to do better than that!"

"Fine." Irene said casually as she chopped his head off.

She watched it tumble into a burning house and limped back to Galatea.

"Are you alright?" Irene asked as her wound started to heal.

"Lets just get out of here and find a stream so I can wash all this blood off of me!"

Irene laughed at how Galatea could start joking around like that so suddenly. "Lets get the others first."

The Reaper stood in the now darkening church, as candles blew out when he walked by them. He knew the sun had gone down and now he could step outside without any type of shield to protect him from burning up. He also knew that soon the city guard would be entering the church wondering why it had suddenly got so silent. He wondered this as he cut off Vincent's head from the body, blood starting falling on the ground once again. Reaper held the head up above him and opened his mouth drinking up all that was pouring out of it.

"Bah!" He yelled tossing the head aside. "Old man blood tastes horrible."

Then he heard banging on the front doors which put a smile on his face. "Looks like I get some younger blood now."

The door crashed down from the gaurds while they had rammed it with a batteringram. Sid was at the front holding his sword, he charged in with many men covered in armor.

Galk came in next drawing a long sword and the others fallowed his lead. "Come out now! We already heard the screams of death today and we know that it had to be an awakened being!"

They heard short laughter in that backround, no it was more of a snicker. "Awakened being you say?"

Then Sid and his men saw it, Reaper walked out of the shadows and down to them showing himself in the moonlight.

"What are you supposed to be?!" Sid yelled holding his sword in a gaurd position.

"Well I'm not an awakened being for one." Reaper said opening his eyes.

Everyone's attention was drawn to his black glowing eyes.

"Thanks for coming to me. You guys will make a good gaurd for me."

Sid stepped back. "What are you saying?!"

The blood thirsty killer infront of Rabona's gaurd hissed and lept forward at them. The men fell back as he grew wings from his sides and connected to his arms like a bats, the men froze even more at this site even for Sid it was to much. Reaper grabbed one of the men with his now talon like feet and picked him up like a bat would do to a moth, he flew up to the ceiling and into the darkness. Next thing everyone heard was a man screaming in pain then the sounds of bones cracking next blood fell to the ground and with it a body.

"Stay on guard everyone!" Galk yelled as they looked up waiting for him to come back down.

"Oh don't worry." Reaper said amused. "I'm not going to kill the rest of you, he was just a good drink. Now I will turn the rest of you into my personal guard!"

He swooped down at them and they tried to cut him with their swords but they just couldn't, for some reason no one could move.

"I see all of you have succumbed to my hypnosis. Now you watch as I turn you all into my slaves, to do my bidding for the rest of time."

Sid watched as the dark bat holding its wings walked towards him. "I would soon rather die!"

"So be it." Reaper said picking up a sword and chopping Sid's head off with it.

The others watched helplessly as his body fell to the ground pumping out blood where the head used to be.

"Sid!" Galk cried. "I'll make you pay!"

"No talking back to me!"

Galk soon found himself on the floor with all of his guts now hanging from the ceiling above him. Their would be nothing left for him but to die now.

Reaper looked at the other men. "You are probably wondering how I did that just now? Of course you are, I killed him with my mind and all of you can do it to if you become my guards."

The other remaining ten men that had stormed the church all nodded their heads in fear. For this was making their true colours show, which made Reaper change his mind.

"Sorry I have no room for cowards."

The candles in the church were full of oil, something that would burn easily. Reaper with his telepathic abilities made the oil float in the air and then land on the young warriors. A still burning candle had been lifted into the air and floated over to the men.

"I will enjoy your screams of terror." Reaper said starting to laugh as the burning candle dropped into the oil.

He watched as the men burned and screamed in pain, it made him laugh, he hoped he could kill off the whole city in just one night now. Yes he would make it burn and he would have a lot more victoms.

"Oh this is fun." He said as he watched the burning bodies fall to the floor.

Chapter 5:
An Abyssal Battle


If Thelmus was already intimidating on his human form, then on his Dragon form he was terrifying.

He was now even taller than the centaur Isley; standing on four claws, the grey Dragon had two horns on the side of his head and two smaller ones on his draconic face, right under the scar on his forehead. His tail was enormous and covered with blades. Finally, he had two gigantic wings on his back.

The Dragon elevated his head to the sky and roared, declaring his invincibility.

Isley was willing to put that to a test.

Thelmus launched himself forward, his teeth aiming for Isley’s throat but the Silver King raised his shield, keeping those deadly fangs away from him. He used his axe to slash Thelmus’s chest and the Dragon scratched his face with his claws.

Isley jumped back to recuperate and Thelmus stood still, waiting for his wound to regenerate.
The King examined his face; the cuts were not deep but blood had been spilled anyway.
And there would be much more to come before the fight was finished.

Isley remembered well how fast Thelmus could be despite his size and if he allowed those fangs to bite his neck, then it would be all over.
Fortunately, the King had an advantage.

“He has four legs and that allows him to move at an amazing speed. I have not only four horse legs but also two hands. I have to use that to my advantage!

“He can’t run and attack with his claws at the same time but I can!”

“I never though that an Abyssal One would care for two Claymores.” spoke Thelmus with draconic voice. “Are you going soft?”

“Don’t get me wrong.” Isley answered “I do not care for those two insects over there. I simply felt your Yoki and decided that I should put you to death.”

Isley jumped forward and Thelmus did the same, fangs and claws clashing against axe and shield.


Outside of the action, Helen and Deneve watched the collision of the two monsters.
Never once had they witnessed such a battle; even they weren’t able to catch its details because of the blinding speed that the Awakened and the Dragon were using.
Helen clenched her teeth and turned to Deneve.

“Hey, Deneve. Shouldn’t we take advantage and escape?” she asked “I think that all the townspeople are already safe.”

Deneve jumped back to avoid the flying ruins of a house. “I don’t know what’s really happening here but Isley and Thelmus seem to have roughly the same strength. Even the winner should be half dead when this is over. If we could seize this opportunity, we could eliminate two abyssal-level enemies right here! What do you think?”

Helen looked to her friend. Deneve always seemed so calm and yet…she could be more troublemaker than her.

“Ok then. We will wait. “Helen said, nodding “Just be careful to not get hit by anything.”

Deneve nodded too and turned her attention to the battle.

Isley left arm was a bow again and he shot five arrows against Thelmus. The Dragon whipped his tail, deflecting them and hitting Isley’s right arm.
The King armed himself with a shield and a lance and charged against his enemy; Isley blinded Thelmus with his shield but the Dragon bites him. The Awakened entered Thelmus’s mouth with his lance and stabbed, ripping off half of his left cheek.

The Dragon roared in pain as Isley turned his left arm into a claw and slashed at the scar on his forehead, however, Thelmus’s right wing turned into tentacles who wrapped themselves around the claw and his two bigger horns stretched and also wrapped themselves around Isley’s neck.

“Isley!” said the Dragon Thelmus “Why don’t you come to my master’s side? With your strength you could become one of the Grand Generals.”

“I have no interest in you or your master!” roared Isley “But I certainly won’t allow this Continent to be threatened by a megalomaniac! If someone will rule this Continent, then it will be me.”

“You idiot! You are no King, you’re a fool!”

Thelmus’s fangs came and Isley felt a sudden pain on his left arm.

The Dragon had ripped it off and was now slashing with his claws at his chest, making the King smash against a couple of houses.

“You won’t be able to shoot any more arrows now.” roared Thelmus

“Damn it all. Me, the King of Awakened Beings in a situation like this…” Isley thought
“Is this the true power of the Dragons?”

“I have a question Thelmus.” said Isley; maybe if he could make him talk, the King would gain time to regenerate his left arm. “I know that Darkhenus is not at his full power right now. It’s because of some deal he made, isn’t it?”

“Indeed it is.” answered Thelmus while eating Isley’s lost arm “That deal was necessary to further his plans but unfortunately, my master’s power was sealed away for more than 100 years.”

Isley stood up again “So right now, you are stronger than Darkhenus, I suppose. Why do you serve him then?”

Thelmus’s laughter sounded like an earthquake “I’ve watched over Darkhenus since he was a baby crying for his mother’s milk, I was there when he killed his first victim and I also witnessed when he murdered the same mother that gave him milk. Do you think I would ever betray my master just because he is weak for 100 years?”

Isley regenerated his left arm, turning it into an axe “I suppose not; a man should die before becoming a traitor.” he assumed a fighting stance. “Do not fear, Darkhenus will make you company in Hell.”


Isley disappeared; Thelmus turned around but he couldn’t avoid the King’s hoofers that kicked him on the head. The lance came in the direction of the Dragon’s throat but he pushed her aside with his claws before turning his winds into tentacles.
One swing from Isley’s axe was all that was needed to cut them all, he went forward with his lance but…

Thelmus’s had disappeared…

“Oh no!”

The Awakened Being turned around the fastest he could but it wasn’t enough.
He felt two powerful jaws closing in on him and soon, sharp canines were trying to break his skull.

Watching from outside of the battle, Helen and Deneve waited their opportunity to strike and destroy one of them. Unfortunately for them, there was none. If they had the bad luck to get too close, the silver eyed women would just be sliced to ribbons-

“Is this what we are up against?” said Helen, following their movements with her eyes “We can’t do anything! They are on a completely different league!”

“We have to wait.” declared Deneve. “The moment will present itself!”

Isley was in a bad situation.
He could feel his skull almost cracking and smelled the nauseating breath that was coming from Thelmus’s throat. It smelt like rotten corpses.
For one of the first times on his long life, the Silver King feared. His skin was certainly tougher than most armour but even he had a breaking point and he was almost reaching.

“Your breath stinks! Are you trying to kill me with it?” roared Isley, struggling in an attempt to survive and turn the tides of that fight. He kicked the Dragon repetitively but Thelmus had finally caught his prey and he wasn’t willing to let him go.
The King felt pain and saw his own blood passing in front his eyes. He heard a noise on his head, probably a vein blowing up.

In a last, desperate move, Isley joined his hands and formed a massive broadsword. He swung it blindly hoping to hit his opponent. Apparently, he was successful because a roar of pan came from deep on Thelmus’s throat and Isley felt the pressure on his head disappearing.
Leaving the deadly embrace of the fangs, Isley saw that he had slashed across the scar on the Dragon’s forehead, reopening the old wound.

More importantly, he also saw that Thelmus’s was being blinded by his own blood…

Seizing the opportunity, Isley stabbed. The organic blade trespassed skin, flesh, veins and spine, appearing bloody on the other side of Thelmus’s neck.
The Dragon screamed, his body broken by the excruciating pain. Isley couldn’t avoid yelling victory but his celebration was interrupted when Thelmus’s tail whipped and stabbed trough the King’s chest.
Isley coughed.
Red blood was mixed with purple as the two monsters fell on the ground, their bodies shrieking to a more humanoid form.


Helen and Deneve tightened their grips on their claymores…

Review for your first 3 Chapters of After War,

Can roughly remember what happened in Double-Edged, but I get the picture of what's happening.

So you've decided to introduce "vampires" into the story? It could be a very wise move, considering that too much has been written already about Claymores, ABs & dragon-kin. My only worry is that, when reading it, After War sounded more like Underworld or (gasp) Twilight fanfiction that Claymore. It is honestly difficult to tell. For newer readers, it might also be a bit problematic since you begin with Tyrath, Dracul & Raven.

Second, you re-introduced Miria & Clare too early. From the 2nd chapter onwards, even if I knew that both had awakened & were not part of the story (as yet), it seemed pretty clear that they would be coming back very soon. Their reunion with Tyrath & gang also lacks the surprise/ shock/ bewilderment of rediscovering old characters.

So, this is my technical advice:

1. Keep Miria & Clare away from the main story as possible. I assume that since the title of the story is After War, you will be focusing on more isolated fights? Miria & Clare will probably play a key role in the story, but keep that role & their presence less obvious.

2. Your stories are big-perspective stories where you use many characters' POVs. So far, limiting it to Tyrath, Dracul & Irene seems pretty ok. Can try to experiment more with characters like Clarice & the other ghosts.

3. It might be appropriate if you can incoroporate a history of the vampires (and how they came to exist alongside Claymores, yoma, ABs & dragon-kin) in the story.

@shelter: Lol no I have been planning this story before I found out about the third Underworld movie, and it has nothing to do with that lame Twilight series. BTW I portray them as they should be portrayed, in the movies vampires always get looked at like they are grundge rockers or heavy metal rockers that would probably be fun to be around. In my fic I show them as they should be, blood thirsty violent killers that don't stop any bloodshed for anyone or anything.

Anyway all of the chapters have been written in advanced, and here is the next chapter.

Chapter: 4

Galatea was in a problem now, this battle that she and the othes had been in for a day now in a lost and ruined ghost city now overun by vampires had split her up from the group. She wasn't sure if the others were still together or not but she knew for sure that Clarice had been caught by a vampire as she was mistaken to be a human. To make things harder Galatea's former allies Dracul, Raven, and Tyrath the dragon kin who had fought beside Miria and all the others a few years before had shown up again. Thing was they didn't seem very well prepared as once Galatea told Tyrath about Clarice he took off. Dracul and Raven went down on the streets to start fighting even though Galatea had a feeling that Dracul just wanted to see Irene.

Galatea had to jump back as a burning tree in the city had fallen infront of her. She looked ahead and saw two pairs of dark glowing eyes. "Great more to kill."

However in another part of the city Beth found herself having a problem as well, Cynthia and Tabitha were pretty much taking and gaurding her from every attack. The thing is Beth was never trained very well to fight when she was with the organization, it was expected that when she was in the soul link with her sister that other warriors would die for her and it seemed like that would still be the case as she watched Cynthia and Tabitha take any hit with their own bodies so that the former number two would live.

"Tabitha and Cynthia, I'm sorry that me former number two of the organization can't even keep up with you two who were lower ranking warriors."

"Beth don't worry about it!" Screamed Cynthia. "Just remember all the training we have given you and aaaah!"

Tabitha watched her close friend fall to the ground. "Cynthia!"

Cynthia took her attention off the fight while screaming to Beth to fight which then aloud an enemy to come in with a wooden spear and thrust it through her body.

Beth was in shock now, she had really messed up. It was her fault that Cynthia her friend and trainer had just been impailed. "Cynthia... Cynthia?" Beth whispered crawling over to her.

Cynthia winced in pain as she pulled the spear out and tried to get back up but it was no good for her when blood squirted out of two holes now made in her torso. "Beth, you have to fight..." Cynthia mumbled as she lay on her back.

"Cynthia please don't die." Beth mumbled as her yoki started to grow. "Please don't..."

Beth's yoki had exploded around her, Tabitha looked over as she felt the former number two's power push her back. "This is Beth's yoki?" Tabitha thought.

More vampires had moved in on them as Beth drew her sword. Tabitha watched her comrade jump forward and holding her sword over her head, and with a few slices with her cold steel, Beth was making undead vampire blood hurtle around them and cover the streets.

The final vampire had fallen to the ground as Beth kept on stabbing it with her sword. She wouldn't stop piercing holes in its body, so much that Tabitha ran up from behind her and had to throw Beth on the ground to make her remember the reality that she was in.

"Beth, you killed it."

Beth's eyes teared up. "Is... is Cynthia okay?"

Tabitha looked over at Cynthia on her back as she held herself. "She's healing."

"Shit these guys just don't stop!" Helen yelled running down a street alongside Irene.

Helen had her arm exteneded whil using the drill blade at the same time to impail to bloodsuckers that were coming her way.

Irene's quicksword was to fast for any of them to see, as she cut any who would come near her to chunks of meat in a few seconds. "Finding Clarice and getting the hell out of here is what we should be more worried about then killing all of them!" Irene yelled looking at Helen.

"Irene look out!"

Irene looked back only to see her sword arm sliced off.

Irene looked forward in shock as a blur knocked her over and stood over her holding her down with its claws on her face.

Irene tried to scream and Helen was about to kill him but he stopped them with some words. "I wouldn't do anything if I were you or I will cut this half breads head into five pieces."

Helen stopped not knowing what to do next as she listened to Irene moan in fear of death.

Just then the man was about to kill her anyway with his other hand but was knocked over by a powerful force.

"Do not harm Irene you piece of trash!"

Irene quickly sat up. "I know that voice!"

"Why hello Irene, my lady I am here again to be your service... er I mean here to service you... or... ah... I think I am going to faint from staring at you in that kinky leather outfit you have on?"

Irene shook her head and smacked Dracul across the face. "I see you have not changed." She said actually starting to giggle.

"Huh what are you doing back here?!" Helen asked as the same vampire that had Irene down came up from behind her.

Just then its head was rolling around on the ground infront of Helen.

"I am here to." Raven said. "Your still careless Helen."

Helen glared at Raven. "Well your still a hot headed jerk!"

"Whatever." Raven said. "What's going on here?"

Irene stood up. "They have Clarice, in that castle down the road in the middle of this ruined city."

"Thats where Tyrath went." Dracul said. "Okay Raven lets go there before he hurts himself."

Clarice looked around the room she was locked up in. Her arms were shackled to the stone wall along with her legs, the same thing kept on going through her mind and it was. "Why would they want me I'm not a full human?"

The door suddenly opened up and a very pale man walked into the cold room. "Are your ready now to become my undead wife?"

Clarice felt her body shiver as he stroked her short brown hair and moved his fingernails down her neck.

"Why? Why would you want my blood I'm a hybrid? I already know that you can't drink it."

"You can't trick me like that." Said the man in black. "I know for a fact that all those claymore's have blond silverish hair and silver eyes. Your hair is brown, and your eyes are only like silver because you are probably losing your site. They only look silver because of the lighting am I correct? Oh well it doesn't matter, I will make you my wife and then when I tell you my name you will be screaming it forever."

She looked to the right and pushed her head against the wall as he worked the top of her dark purple dress exposing more of her neck.

"No... please don't bite me."

"Like a human you plead for you life."

Clarice closed her eyes as he scratched the skin of the side of her neck with his two fangs. She felt the two sharp fangs start to bite into her neck and it made her force out an agonizing moan of pain.

"Screw you!"

"Oh we will be later..." He said until noticing something. "What the..." He said feeling his mouth starting to burn.

Clarice slowly opened her eyes and looked at him as he started to curse as her tainted blood started burning the inside of his mouth and his throat, and soon his stomach.

"Why you?! You really are a half yoma!" He said grabbing her bloody neck. "Now I am going to die because of you! I will take you with me!"

Clarice felt helpless as he forced her windpipe close blocking the air she needed to breathe. She closed her eyes as she struggled to get free but she could not with the chains that kept her bound, she thought it was all over until she heard her name.

"Clarice!"

Clarice opened her eyes. "Clarice?"

Suddenly she could breathe again, the vampire had let go of her to turn around and see who was bothering him. Clarice felt tears in her eyes when she saw him, it was him the one who she had been with before. "Tyrath...?"

The vampire held his throat as it burned from the inside. "What do you want?!"

"I came here for her. I will kill you if I have to."

"No you can't have her she will die!"

Tyrath watched the man try to turn around and swipe Clarice's head off but Tyrath with his power got around him grabbing his right hand.

"Sorry but I can't let you kill her, she means a lot to me and for the past few years she has been the only thing on my mind."

"Garbage, let go of me!"

"Garbage? The only garbage I see is the dog wimpering as he falls to his death."

The vampire felt the bones in his hand cracking and soon the other as he tried to once again attack Clarice.

"I said before that she can't die, I just found her again. I don't want her to die, a few years ago I had to break her heart. I wish I didn't and I still have to tell her why I couldn't join her and come back to this nice country with her."

"Tyrath..." Clarice whispered as she felt her tears running down her face. "You mean you wanted to stay with me but couldn't?"

Tyrath picked up the dying vampire and threw him through the stone wall making him tumble down the building. A gust of wind came in and Tyrath closed his eyes taking in the fresh air. "Finally, I found you." He said standing infront of her.

"Why?" She asked.

"Its a sad story."

"It was very sad after you left me."

He put his hands on her face, she closed her eyes and he kissed her. It felt so good, so good that it felt like forever and they both wanted to feel like that for a long time.

His hands moved down her waste as he sucked on her lower lip and went on to kissing her neck. He noticed her smiling with her eyes closed, it had been so long since they both last seen each other. He stopped though when he heard voices coming from down the hall.

"Mmmm please don't stop." Clarice maoned giving him an angry stare.

"We need to get out of here." Tyrath said grabbing onto the shackles and ripping them apart with his own hands.

He pulled her close to him while putting his arms around her. "This is a nice dress, hold on tight!"

Clarice felt herself starting to blush as she put her arms around his broad shoulders and burrying her face into his muscular chest.

Other vampires had made it to the room and he jumped while holding on to her tight as she did to him. Her body quivered as she held on to him all the way to the ground, when they landed on the ground they were joined by the others and soon retreated from the ruined city before the battle would continue.

The group of eight now had gathered in a forest far away from the ghost city, strangly as it was they had seen no yoma. True of the past few years Irene had been going around killing them and awakened beings but their would usually some around anyway, but not here.

"Its because those vampires had killed any of them around this area." Dietrich said looking in the fire they had made.

Dietrich had stayed back in the forest as the others went into battle, so that after when they were leaving they would find her and should have already found a safe place to stay. Which was a good idea because Cynthia would need a place to heal from the mistake she made in battle.

Irene sat away from everyone but still watching everyone, she was soon joined by Dracul who looking at her with a smile on his face for the past few hours.

"Okay you really don't stop do you?"

Dracul looked confused.

"Come on if I didn't want you a few years ago why would I still want you?"

Dracul smiled again. "Well if its been that long then maybe you would finally give into me."

Irene shook her head and looked back at him with a smile on her face. "Maybe another time."

Dracul didn't know what to say. "After all this time that means you finally want me?!"

"Don't push your luck!"

Further down away from the forest by the river, Clarice rested in Tyrath's arms as he leaned against a tree. "Tell me why you couldn't come with us back then." She whispered.

"I'm sorry Clarice I really am, but at the time I was still fighting people who held my family."

Clarice's eyes widened. "What? Why didn't you ask us for help?"

"I didn't think I needed it, but by the time I was able to find my remaining family members, they were dead and the ones that had killed them. I slayed them with my own hands."

They were both silent after that, she felt sad. Afterall about what had happened to her after they had split ways at the time. "Tyrath..."

He didn't say anything, he wouldn't have the chance as she had pushed him on his back and leaned over him. Next their hands were slowly stripping each other of their clothing, and their kisses. They had not felt their lips pressing against each others in so long, it was enough to make Clarice start turning red in the face. Even though they had done this before, but it had been such a long time since that it felt new. He put her on her back and she found herself starting to purr as he kissed her neck, he started moving down her body kissing her right breast while holding the left.

"Tyrath." Clarice moaned. "What if someone see's us?"

He looked at her. "Then I'll make them wish they hadn't."

She put her head back as he took his right hand and felt the scars on her stomach, he took it down further until he reached her most secret place. Clarice moaned softly at the his touch and almost instantly spread her legs for him. He lifted her legs up above his shoulders and slid his tongue in, she smiled as he grabbed her breasts and started to squeeze at the same time.

"Aah!"

Tyrath listened to her as she pleaded for more, he did as he was told and tried to slide his tongue in as far as he could make it.

"Aaaargh! Don't stop!"

He forced it in further now, so much that he even felt most of his face starting to sink into her wet womanhood.

"Yes! Now faster! Owww!"

Tyrath was very amused, he had made her go from quiet moans to loud screams of pleasure.

"Awwwww!"

"Your making me feel so hot!"

"Yes thats it!"

The feeling of his tongue inside of her was to much, he squeezed her again and this time she let it all out.

"Here it comes!"

"AAAAAAH AAAAAAAAAAAAHH!"

Tyrath let her down as she came, he kissed her again and felt her body shaking. Her eyes met with his and he smiled giving her another kiss, and soon she felt it in her. Between her legs going in and out, she put her arms around him and dug her fingernails in his back. He growled and started to slowly speed up, Clarice bit his right shoulder as he sucked on her neck. They moaned in each others ears, they each wanted this feeling to last forever.

"My legs are going numb..." Clarice moaned.

Tyrath kissed her again. "I feel like I'm going to burn up..."

"AAAARGH Me too!"

She took her hands and pulled her lower lips open so that he could go deeper. "AAAAHH Tyrath!"

He felt himself grinning as he watched her moan and scream his name over and over. "I'm going to go faster now!"

"EEEEEEERGH! What you can go faster?!"

She had become louder now, so much that the others might be able to hear the whole thing. They didn't care though, this was the best feeling that they both hadn't felt in such a long time.

"Now!" He moaned. "I'm cumming now!"

"AAAAAARGH Me too!"

The feeling she had when he filled her with his ecstasy was to much.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"

They fell into each others arms, lightly kissing the other. Clarice pushed herself into him while breathing heavily, they stayed silent for a little as they listened to each other gasping for air.

"I love you Clarice..."

Clarice kissed him, she forced her tongue into his mouth. "I love you too... Don't ever leave me again..."

"Never, I want to be with you forever."

They stayed cuddled up like that for the remainder of the night, Tyrath stayed up and watched Clarice sleep in his arms. She looked so peaceful now, this time he would not leave her. Those words kept on going through his mind as he found himself starting to fall into a deep sleep.

Rabona.

A dark creature flew over the dead city, corpses hung off various street signs. Bodies were torn up into pieces and blood covered the streets. The dark figure landed on top of a tall building and then was soon joined by the other.

"Aleron I was not expecting you to be here?"

The old man turned around. "Well Reaper I see you have done a good job, but you have not killed everyone am I right?"

"I only killed the cowards. Why are you here though?"

"I was going to eventually come looking for you." The old vampire said while folding his bat like wings around his body. "We have a problem."

"What would that be my master?"

"A group of those damned silver eyed witches are killing off so many of my children..."

Reaper's dark aura did not change. "This is a problem my master? You can just turn some more of those humans into us."

"Its getting hard with all those yoma still running free, we came out of hiding after the organization was destroyed. They would send those annoying witches after us sometimes, or that damned silver eyed king Easley would get in our way! The yoma still hunt humans, and on top of that it seems three other really powerful people have come to this land and they seem to be too much for us!"

"I have an idea master."

"Speak of it."

"We could get your first son Corbin to get rid of them?"

Aleron thought about it for a second. "How about we bring him here, I think that would work. Along with all the others, this is a large city and I think it will be a nice fortress for us!"

Outside of Rabona.

Clare and Miria both looked at the dying city, it was a sad sight to see even know they were both now awakened beings. They had shared some fond memories of the place and decided that they were going to have to do something about this bat problem.

"Are you ready Clare?"

"Miria what if we aren't enough?"

"We will raise our yoki as much as we can and the others will feel us. They will all come thinking that we have attacked the city, when they get here they will help us."

"Now I see."

The two women walked towards the broken main gates, ready for a fight.

Chapter: 6

Galatea's group had gone back to Rabona in a hurry after they felt two strong and very familiar yoki's. By the time they got to the holy city it was far to late on their part, as zombies and other types of ghouls had started to walk to them they had quickly drawn their swords and got ready for battle. Farther ahead they could sence Clare and Miria. Tyrath, Dracul, and Raven went past the zombies to where the yoki was to see what was going on. While all the girls would be fighting the undead and trying to find anyone that had not been caught yet.

The three dragon kin smashed the doors open with ease at the church. It was a dark scene in the church with countless bodies laying on the floor, and just ahead of them was Miria and Clare fighting two of those bloodsuckers.

"What's this?!" Aleron yelled in confusion once he saw the three men storm into the church.

Reaper looked confused as well.

"It took you long enough." Miria muttered.

"The others are here now." Raven said.

Clare and Miria looked at each other."

"Step aside." Raven said. "We will fight them."

"So you want a three on two fight?" Aleron thought.

Just then Raven was knocked over by someone, he rolled around kicking at the person who had taken him down from behind. Next he was standing face to face with another vampire.

"Just in time my son. Corbin" Aleron said. "It will be three on three now."

"Hey Dracul!" Clare shouted. "That older one is the head of all of these vampires, killing him will kill all the others."

"Thats good to know." Dracul thought. "Alight guys I get the old man!"

Raven looked at Corbin. "I got this one." He said looking at the newer vampire as it tossed his rugged overcoat at him.

Raven swiped it aside and charged at him.

"Looks like I got this one." Tyrath thought looking at Reaper's mysterious face.

The vampires black eyes looked back at the dragons red eyes, they knew once by seeing them that they would be a tough fight. They would use their power, before Raven, Tyrath, and Dracul could go after them. They jumped back and flew out of the shattered stained glass windows.

Clare and Miria both knew what was going to happen next and they ran out of the church. The church began to crumble to the ground and up in the dark night sky the three bats thought they would have won this fight but that thought had changed once they saw what was now looking back at them. On the ground where the church used to be the three dragons, Tyrath's red snake like body slithered away from the other two as he looked for higher ground to catch Reaper. Raven spread his wings and took off at Corbin, Dracul laughed and breathed out fire as he flew in the air.

"What the hell is this?!" Aleron yelled wondering what this was when he saw the giant bodies flying up at them.

This was the first time he had felt at a dissadvantage in a long time. Tyrath reached up in the air trying to bite Reaper, he wished he had wings at a time like this. Reaper who was full of spells and other tricks could not use them. Everytime he tried to speak in his dark language Tyrath would spit a fireball at him and make him stop to evade and start all over.

Reaper landed on the ground and hid behind the buildings as Tyrath broke them down as he went after him.

"Shit! This is no good." Reaper thought trying to figure something out.

It was then he knew he was fighitng something much higher up in the food chain than he was. He ran down the streets of the dead city going across the ally ways, but after what turned out to be an hour of doing that Tyrath with his much taller body looked over all the buildings and noticed Reaper was trapping himself with a dead end coming up.

Tyrath hissed and slowed down knowing that he was going to kill the bat. Reaper laughed as he thought he was getting away, only until he got to that dead end end when he went to the last turn. He looked at the cement wall and cursed to himself, he was about to fly but couldn't, because when he looked up he saw Beth standing there on the wall above him with Galatea.

They were ready to attack, but Reaper turned around thinking he could find a way to get going again. Only to be face to face with Tyrath again, Tyrath roared and Reaper was now caught in his flames. He screamed in pain as he realized after being immortal for so long that he was not perfectly invincible.

Beth and Galatea jumped back as Tyrath let out some more fire from is mouth and burned the bat to ashes.

Miria and Clare watched the four fighting in the sky, it was fun to watch actually they had not seen something like this before. Then they heard someone run up behind them. Clare and Miria both turned around to see Helen ready to attack.

"I'll kill you zombies!" Helen shouted but then stopped quickly. "What?!

"Hello Helen." Miria said.

"What? What? What?" Helen kept on saying confused.

Just then Cynthia and Tabitha came to join Helen. The three of them looked at the two awakened beings, no their former friends as they quickly took off and went far away from the city in unbelievable speed.

"They are still alive." Tabitha thought as she watched them disappear.

Raven attacked Corbin who was able to attack back, for the dragons this turned out to be a simple fight which was not expected for the head of the undead and his son. Surely they would be much stronger than this?

Raven grabbed on to Corbin and drove him to the stone ground of the streets of Rabona, right infront of Irene.

"He's all yours now." Raven snarled as he flew up to help Dracul.

Corbin started to get up only to see Irene and her sword infront of his face.

Corbin's eyes turned white. "You think you will be able to kill me?!"

Irene didn't say anything and with the flick of her rist she had sliced Corbin into pieces.

Aleron felt the two deaths and took his attention off of Dracul. He saw Raven flying up at him and he cursed to himself for letting these three enter the country, if the vampires he had out west would have dont their job he wouldn't be in this problem right now.

"My, my this is far easier then I thought it would be." Dracul growled.

"I'll show you!" Aleron yelled coming in for an attack but was pushed back by Raven's claws.

"Hey you won't last much longer!"

Aleron looked at both of them as they flew around him, they started breathing fire which made a vortex around Aleron so that he would be caged in. This was something Raven and Dracul had thought up in the last few years back on the other continent. Aleron looked around for an opening but their was nowhere to go, he would get burned which ever way he chose.

"Why is this happening?" Aleron thought. "I have worked so hard and waited so long i can't lose everything now!"

Soon he noticed the flames starting to get closer and closer, and then they were touching him. He started screaming as they started to eat off at his skin, he tried to get out, this time he had to leave no matter what. Back on the ground the warriors saw him falling from the flames, and rushed to the location of the city he had fallen to. They were stopped by more ghouls and had to start cutting them up once again.

Dracul and Raven flew down as he lay there broken and burned.

"My how have I messed this one up?" Aleron thought as he watched the giant claws and fangs come down at him and slice him into pieces.

Aleron then saw his whole life flash by him in an instant, he remembered when he was a child before he had become a monster, and when he killed the person that made him a monster. Then everything went dark.

Galatea and the others kept on fighting the thousands of ghouls, but then the ghouls stopped and fell to the ground. Soon they could hear vampires all around screaming in pain as they fell to their deaths.

* * *

A few hours later outside of the city.

"What are we going to do now?" Cynthia asked nudging Galatea.

"Find a new place to live. Rabona and any other place that was overthrown with the undead will eventually become nests for yoma and then we will have to kill them."

Dracul and Irene stood near each other. "You helped us win again."

Dracul looked at Irene. "Do I hear guilt in your voice?"

Irene looked at him for a few seconds. "Do you still want me?"

Dracul's eyes lit up fast. "Are you kidding me?! Of course I do!"

Irene had finally given in to him, she grabbed his arm and pulled him away from the others. "Come with me then." She said in a seductive voice.

Helen watched them leave. "Hey why does she get to have all the fun right now?! I think I am deserving of some action! Hey Raven!"

Helen latched on to Raven and pulled him away, he wasn't going to complain.

"Thats our Helen!" Cynthia shouted as she and Tabitha started to laugh.

As this was going on Tyrath lifted Clarice off the ground and left with her without anyone noticing.

Galatea turned around once she heard a lot of people walking behind her. It was Dietrich and she was with someone else.

"Where have you been?" Galatea asked.

"I have found someone that could join us."

"Hi my name is Audrey, and I would like to join you also I know of others that wouldn't mind joining your team." The woman said slightly bowing to Galatea.

Galatea smiled. "Interesting."

* * *

Somewhere else.

Clare lay on her back on a bed in her dark cave surrounded by candles, her attention was switched over from looking at the cieling and over at Miria who had sat on top of her naked body.

"Whats wrong Clare?" Miria asked kissing Clare on the head.

"You don't think the others will come after us now do you?"

Miria giggled. "Clare you worry to much."

Miria pressed her naked body against Clare's, Clare moaned when they kissed. The two of them got very close to each other after they awakened and ran from the others throughout the past few years.

They each grabbed the others breasts tightly and started rubbing their hips against the others. Clare threw Miria over and got on top. "I feel like being rough again."

Miria groaned. "You feel like being rough all the time..."

"I know." Clare said as she forced herself on Miria and violently stuck her hand in inbetween her legs.

"AAAH Clare!"

"You like it."

Miria laughed. "You will too." She said putting her fingers in a now very wet place in Clare's body.

Clare moaned as she forced another kiss on Miria sticking her tongue in her mouth.

"Clare!"

Clare smiled at Miria.

"Your too good at making me cum..." Miria moaned releasing her fluids all over Clare's arm and legs.

"You get faster and faster everytime." Clare said laughing.

"Don't laugh at me Clare its my turn!"

Clare always loved it when she got Miria going, it just made her more excited during their times of when they felt really close to each other like this. Miria grabbed Clare and threw her on her back this time and got on top. She didn't waste any time and went down on Clare in a second sliding her tongue around between Clare's legs. Clare felt her body tensing up as she grabbed the back of Miria's head and pushed into her making her tongue go in deeper.

"Oh Miria!"

Miria put two fingers in Clare and started twisting them in her at the same time while thrusting them back and forth.

"AAAH!"

Clare spread her legs as far as she could so Miria could get deep inside of her. Clare bit her lip as she felt Miria going to work in her, it felt so good. So good that her hips started to raise off of the bed.

"Faster!"

Miria smiled as she felt her head being lifted with Clare's hips. Clare's moans turned into screams as Miria went faster, and faster, until Clare felt herself starting to burn up from the inside.

Clare closed her eyes. "OOOOOOOH HERE I COME!"

Miria pulled back as Clare squirt all over Miria's face. Clare fell back down on the bed breathing heavily, Miria crawled over and cuddled up to her.

"So Clare, you like to be fast to?"

"Mmmm Don't say anything..."

The two of them held each other tight and kissed over and over again.

The two awakened beings had survived together for so long, even before they awakened and now in all that time they had been together they never knew how much they would fall in love with each other until they were alone from everyone else. Until after a very long time they would eventually die from lack of human meat which they needed to eat to live, but because they are still against that they would die in each others arms.

As for the others, they would keep on killing yoma and awakened beings that survived for such a long time now. They would live longer than Miria and Clare, but eventaully for them they would have to leave humans once claymores and yoma had been forgotten about. Before humans would get afraid once again thinking they are witches that should burn at the cross because of their never ending age. So for the former ghosts it is unkown what has happened to them, along with the three dragons.

The expansion of descriptive language in your stories is becoming evident and that's impressive. However, this descriptive language fluctuates somewhat, especially in the Clarice x Tyrath sex scene, where the language use suddenly becomes less complex and sophisticated. Now that you got the hang of describing the world rather than just actions, it's time to add sophisticated imagery and poetic touches into the story. Also, again, remember to ensure your typos don't get in the way of the story flow, like this:

"I am here to." Raven said. "Your still careless Helen."

It should be "too" and "You're" because Raven is shortening the two words of "You are". Obviously "Your" is a designation for "one's possession of."

Good fight scene, although still some mix-ups with the past tense and present tense and some typo errors. I like the italicized thoughts because I always used italicized thoughts, and my ears perked up when I heard Thelmus say "Grand General". :P

Some parts felt a bit jarring, however, slightly out of character. For example: this part: "“But I certainly won’t allow this Continent to be threatened by a megalomaniac! If someone will rule this Continent, then it will be me.”"

I can't really see Isley saying those noble words unless he DOESN'T mean it. Is that your intention, or am I pointing out something legitimate here.

When she finally managed to catch up with Clare, her agitated disposition fought against Clare’s traditional look of disdain: Clare’s eyes, downward-looking, her hands perfectly still, her hair unfurled by the impending snowstorm. When she attempted to apologize, Clare sliced off her words in midsentence:

“I didn’t ask you to follow me.”

But she did anyway. She always did. After all, beyond Miria’s strict orders not to let the wayward youngster out of her sight, were they not all sisters first then comrades later? Casting aside Clare’s glowering impatience, she stepped into pace, fixating her eyes on the snowcapped peaks of Clare’s thin shoulders, as the storm began to toss ice and frost all about them.

The cave they discovered on a routine check along the lower spine of the mountains. Here, facing north, they were completely exposed to the blasting wind, so the cave presented a possibility to wait out the bad weather. Grimly criss-crossing a slope edged with so much rock that it resembled a cemetery to eroded hills, she saw the cave ahead of Clare, who was blindly pouring her eyes out into the blank, bleak whiteness. When she suggested they could examine the cave, Clare gave no indication she had heard.

And maybe she had not, considering the wind and the snow overlaid upon them an additional layer of clothing. But when she called out again, Clare stopped completely, her figure outlined in black, an obstacle to the wind.

“I heard.”

She allowed Clare to batter through the wall of ice-strained rock which blocked the cave entrance. Entering after her, she could feel the cave walls exchange echoes, and the corridor singing with the wind from the forced opening. And Clare, seemingly unmoved, continued to walk towards the blinking blackness, stray snow marking her venture forward.

She groped along the slippery surfaces, the walls like the splattering of a hundred thousand rock fragments, the only sign that Clare was still alive was the patter-patter-patter of her footsteps competing with the wind for her attention. The rocks were beginning to loom out from all directions at her, and adjusting fiercely to the light, she can see Clare beyond the intense blackness, completely still.

“He was here.”

When she reached Clare she sees her standing over what appears to be a smudge on the earth, the dead and long dead remains of a fire. Clare had stooped over the memorial, obsessively pouring her attention over it.

But how do you know, she protested.

“Because I know,” Clare returned her attempt at rational reason with a sharp intake of breath.

You don’t, she found herself retorting.

“This isn’t you, Yuma. Who asked you –”

Clare’s voice had fallen off a cliff, but instead – instead – its place Clare found herself grimacing in surprise, bracing against the all of her comrade’s weight. And she, Yuma, had taken the opportunity, her one attempt at standing up for what was Clare’s unreasonable delusion.

“Yuma, Yuma –”

You look everywhere but in front of you, she said with a vengeance, accompanied by an equally resentful seizure of Clare’s face – the wide, stunned eyes, the brushing sweep of her lashes, the dried-out frayed lower lip which Yuma longed to moisten.

“Yuma.”

She had cornered Clare. She had separated her from her weapon. And now, Yuma was prodding, pushing, guiding Clare deeper still into the gloom-stricken cave.

She knew the cold would sting and redden exposed skin, as it was now doing to Clare’s torso. She did not hear what Clare had to say as she burrowed into its tense, muscular terrain.

And when she re-emerged, the air here never felt colder. Every breath Yuma took felt like drinking.

You really like to make your yuri fics cryptic don't you? It took me a while to figure out what Yuma was doing to Clare.

Cool one-shot, Shelter. Now I like Yuma more and more. While I don't have any major points, I think there were a couple of past-tense/present-tense confusions due to the fact that they weren't italicized and therefore couldn't be thoughts from a character. There was a minor disconnection between "bracing against the all of her comrade's weight" part but that's, like... a minor mistake... all I can pick out.

Ah, thank you. Always good to hear a recommendation, though I'd have to point out that any and all Clarice/Raki is entirely one-sided.

Anyway, Papa is completely finished, so anyone who was put off by the short-chapter format can rush through from start to finish, and then hit all the side arcs.

an interesting concept this is. i wonder who also would make an big impact on raki's life besides clare. i think galatea or miria would definitely be that. ^^;
