The bgm that played when
Spoiler:
was really tight, reminded me a bit of his amazing Rurouni Kenshin OVA score. Just lacks that epic punch to it that "One Red Nightmare" had... No surprise that my two fav scores for the spring season are from my two fav composers! Spoiler:
Honestly I was disappointed at first that Kaori Nazuka replaced Mamiko Noto from the drama cd but I've recently became a much bigger fan of Kaori Nazuka and I think she fits Tsubaki a lot better than Mamiko Noto would have. |

Also Zoe Spoiler for Episode 2 spoiler:
Even though we're two episodes in as well there are already notable changes in the series Spoiler for Spoliers for episodes 1 and 2:
I expect also that the late night version for this episode will lost likeley have a bit more blood than this one and perhaps more with the bath scenes as well, although i'll only be watching the late night version for the extended preview for next weeks episode. |

You guys comparing the track to "Nikopol" are comparing the one that plays during the last part of the fight yeah? The one I was talking about is from 12:00 to 14:36. At 13:17 it starts to build up like "One More Red Nightmare" except it just lacks that amazing sequence halfway through the song like One More Red Nightmare. As nice as his new style is I still prefer his old style the best
If you like Nikopol I'm pretty sure he has similar tracks like that for Persona... when's the ost for that come out (and will Kekkaishi ost II ever get announced? ) I really don't feel like watching that just to hear the music. |

I'm almost worried at the amount of fanservice in the show. It's like every other shot is going to be fanservice at times, especially those two guns/girls. Not that I'm complaining, but this show might have just as much fanservice as fanservice shows.

Visual Flair - Check
Stylish Action - Check Thumping BGM - Check . . . Mana's VA - ... *screams* It's like she failed to put her heart and soul into it. The type of voice itself was good, but the tones, inflections, etc... were either non-existent or badly mangled. It boggles my mind on how she managed to pass the auditions. Gnargh!
