Yeah, it's easier to remember her age that way.

We got to see her child form (4/8?), high school form (18), pro form (28).
Hayarin has been a mahjong idol since she's little it seems.

Also, according to 4chan, in that post, or another one close by, Ritz confirms Shiraitodai and Shindouji are boarding schools, and Himeko and Mairu share a room.

Spoiler for chapter 1: Kanna is tsundere for Hayarin and Shino is Saki before Saki without the obssesion for boobs and even more drama. Like achiga gave us shiraitodai, shinohayu might deliver the drama before the main series.

Now, since 1 sou is terminal tile, she would have to aim for a terminal-related yaku like: - Jun chantaiyao (Terminal in each set) - Chantaiyao (Terminal or honor in each set) - honroutou (All terminals and honors) - Seven Pairs Yakuman - Kokushi musou - Chinroutou - All green (well, 1 sou can't in there but it is bamboo tile yakuman) Shino should also gain advantage by the fact that most player won't keep 1 and 9 in their hand and likely to disgard them.
