Visual perceptions.

1. Her clothing is not bulky, which cuts down on the "roundness" and lends her an air of "maturity".
2. We cannot see her legs. This helps to make us see her as artificially taller.
3. Clothing again, we actually get to see her bust's outline. Something which is definitely not a kid's attribute.
