I hope my eyes are betraying me... does the first link REALLY refer to F/SN2014 as "a remake of the first anime"? Please tell me that was just an illusion... even though it was before the UBW announcment, that description, which basically assumes that it is the boring Fate route again without any proof, is ridiculous. This will effectively distance all the Shirou haters again due to a mere mislabeling of this upcoming readaption. And all this, even though they even have VN listed as the source material, which just makes it even worse! I now know not to trust the descriptions of neregate.com anymore, for which I more than once noticed certain uncertainties before, but at least it is still useful for a general estimate early on.

It's a two-cour UBW adaptation, so there will almost certainly be a lot of Fate in there as well.

But it is not a remake of the DEEN anime. That wording could only lead to misunderstandings and was only associated with out-of-context-memes and memories of sexism dialogue, i.e. "Fate/stay kitchen", as I call it. If they called it a "new F/SN anime" or a "readaption" it would have been best. I saw at least 2 users on this forum whose hate against Shirou caused by only watching Fate/stay kitchen will never let them be able to see the new adaption due to the resulting bias, so every little thing that may sway the uninformed masses into the wrong direction is a bad thing.


Too bad Aldnoah.Zero is split cour. I will have to wait for winter to watch it... at least it will make the split cour break from F/SN2014 easier to bridge, so always having one of those 2 is a good thing in a way.

The fall season looks pretty dreary to me, there's nothing I'm really excited about...

What I'm going to watch:
Orenchi no furo jijou: Looks silly enough to be just up my alley, I hope it'll deliver.
Kokkuri-san: Same as above, it looks cute and silly. Also, OnoD, Sakurai and Nakata Jouji? Count me in.
Donten ni warau: I liked what I've read of the manga, so yep, looking forward to this one.
Parasite: Why not.
Mushishi 2/2: Yep.
Shirobako: I keep hoping against hope.
GITS:ARISE: eh, it's the last episode, I might as well see it through.

I'm vaguely interested in but not that much:
Garou: Could be actually good...
Shigatsu wa kimi no uso: Maybe if it has seiyuu I like, otherwise doesn't look very interesting.
Gundam G Reconquista: yeeeah, maybe.
World Trigger: Seems like a decent but mediocre offering, I guess depends on the seiyuu.
Akatsuki no Yona: I'd be more interested if there was no romance, but perhaps it'll be worth checking out.

I'll keep an eye on the 2nd seasons of "Log Horizon" and "Mushishi Zoku-Shou", as well as "Akatsuki no Yona" and "Donten ni Warau"

Sora no Method's a definite. I know nothing about the story, but I like Noah's character design (reminds me of Erio from Denpa Onna), and the song used in the trailer is really nice and the main reason I became interested in this show months ago.

Grisaia no Kajitsu's another must see, and perhaps the main highlight of the entire season for me. (edit: Actually, WIXOSS will be the main highlight for me. Grisaia's definitely a strong attraction, though.) I was lukewarm towards the Common Route, but the character routes won me over, and I honestly think Grisaia no Meikyuu will be one of my favorite stories of all time.

Fate/stay night should be interesting. I read the first few hours of the VN last year, and it's plain to see that the original adaptation was as underwhelming as everyone says. Here's to hoping this one will do the source material justice.

Log Horizon 2 and selector spread WIXOSS are both series I'm looking forward to seeing return, though the latter moreso than the former - I enjoy Log Horizon a good deal, but WIXOSS is one of my all-time favorites.

Sanzoku no Musume Ronia I might check out, its classical and old-timey style is different from the usual stuff I watch.

Hitsugi no Chaika AVENGING BATTLE (that name's pretty hardcore) is a maybe. The original was okay, but I didn't find it too terribly interesting; there were certainly aspects I liked about it, but it's something that I found fairly dry on the whole and which I had to force myself to push through sometimes. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso is another maybe that depends on the feedback it gets.

On the OVA front, I'll watch the OVAs for all the series I watched in the past; those being Shinryaku Ika Musume, Prisma Illya, Gokukoku no Brynhildr, Hayate no Gotoku, Yuruyuri, Infinite Stratos, and I suppose Watamote (I had trouble finishing the original because I just found it depressing :/ ). I'm also looking forward to Tamako Love Story, and I guess the Sora no Otoshimono film.

I'll watch everything except sequels of shows I don't watch, however I have high expectations for Psycho-Pass 2 and Trinity Seven since I am reading the manga right now. I am also highly interested in Girlfriend (Beta) and Ushinawareta Mirai o Motomete since anything by feel. is mandatory for me. Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu looks pretty cool and I'll watch all the eroge adaptations this fall. Madan no Ou to Vanadis would be great, however I am a bit worried about how the story will be rushed, as I heard a lot of positive things about the original novel it was based off.

7 shows compared to the 4 shows I am watching from summer. I think fall going to be fun. Some other shows might be good but it will all depend on the first few eps.

• Shingeki no Bahamut; Zankyou no Terror looks pretty neat, I'll hold my expectation for the next MAPPA production.
• The Great Library; I always welcome a new harem anime with open arms.
• Grisaia no Kajitsu; I haven't read the VN yet, but it seems the adaptation won't fulfill the fans' expectation. And I'll have great time drinking up tears.
• Girlfriend; Watching with expectation that maybe it will deliver something Amagami-ish.
• Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso; I've been wanted to see the manga, but it seems I don't need to.
• Trinity Seven; I did read the manga, so watching anime adaptation is obligatory.

Fate-Stay Night UBW = Ufotable did a great job in F/Z so I hope they can manage to keep the level in this story.

Mushishi = One of the legendary series IMO, and still happy that it will be continue.

HNChaika = Love the first season, and hoping to see lots of Chaika again.
