On standby. Apparently, the kings decided that SC must learn a former linker's ability through the use of the IS to beat Metatron.

In regards to Vol. 12, ...Are we being trolled here? If there is Chocolate Puppeteer, where Mocha Marionette or Vanilla Pierrot?

See, the main thing they have to do to get him to learn Theoretic Mirror is to change him into a surface which reflects light right back, or a mirror ("A mirror is an object that reflects light or sound in a way that preserves much of its original quality prior to its contact with the mirror." - Wikipedia). Silver is capable of reflecting light, but at unpredictable angles.

Has anyone read the bonus novel that came with the BD volume 1? It seems like there are some tidbits in it about Graphite Edge that's really interesting.

The story took place after Aqua Current and Haru asked flathime how to use his points, then hime told about her story with Edge.

1) Probably a guy
2) "He" is Hime's master (like Raker to Crow), and is the strongest Burst Linker in Nega Nebulus.
3) At the time also was Lv. 8, but had enough points to get to Lv. 9
4) Lotus had never won against Edge, the only time she "won" was by destroying the environment; Maiden and Current were the judges and they jest(?) that Lotus cheated.
5) Regarding Edge's age, the only hint is that at the time when pencils are already outdated(?).
6) "He" is a nitouryuu!! Lotus's Star Burst Stream was taught by Edge.



I am one of those that don't believe in connection between AW and SAO so this is just another neta that I find interesting, but for those who loves the theory here's some stuff for you to think about too.

Starburst.. stream..? Wow. AND he's a dual wielder? Oi, oi.. as much as I want to hope there's no connection between SAO and AW aside from the technological aspect.. this.. guy couldn't possibly be Kirito.. could he? A lot seems to imply that he is, and what's more is that this also seems to imply that the two worlds are indeed one.. Bleh.

Is he still alive? And the hell wasn't this included in the anime..

I doubt it personally since she implied her parent was female and that ,if the translations are right, it said Master specifically as opposed to parent also not to mention she didn't even want to talk about anything regarding her parent where as here she is clearly talking about Edge.

And I also heavily doubt it's Kirito since there is suppose to be an age limit

...I do not think he is Kirito. If anything, he might be someone who idolized him and used that to fill his mental scar for his avatar. After all, take note of the years, Kirito would be too old to use Neuro Linker. Unless, BIC...

Simple. Too early to reveal. If anything, they will reveal it in S2 when they will tackle NN's past.

Haru's family background was already been said I think in vol 2. If you read the novel then you will know what kind of family Haru has and also the reason why he grew up almost having Chiyu's home as his home because he stays more often there than his own home.

I'm not sure if her parent is female.. but it was implied that her parent was the White King, was it not? And yeah, Graphite Edge seems to be her master, not her parent.

Hm, quite possible. But wouldn't that mean that the worlds are one? Or maybe this is just the author's way of either 1) trolling us or 2) making this a character as a sort of homage to Kirito.

Simple. Too early to reveal. If anything, they will reveal it in S2 when they will tackle NN's past.

Good point. However, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see it in the anime for another good while..

I doubt it, as Kirito invented Star Burst Stream in SAO. Why would he teach it to someone? If the author just admits that the worlds are related/the same, then it'll make a lot more sense..

Regarding that, if we assume SAO and Accel World is on the same timeline, Accel World takes places 2046. We can assume that in SAO pencils were still in use. The Brain Burst program started appearing around seven years ago, 2039. Accordingly, SAO is said to take place 40 years ago, 2006. Now then, we could assume pencils became outdated in 30 years time, 2036. We could assume that Graphite Edge might be one of the pioneers of BB. This is my opinion only.
