Not bad... but i prefer the original being used on the Blu-Ray episodes. For all the hype around this "dream team" it does the same for me that The ALFEE's version. That's why Mr. Sasaki's version will always rule.

So is this not getting a legal stream either and from what I understand this like Titans is also MBS. I am so disappointed right now.

There are way too many series I have to download fansubs for this season.

At this point I might as well wait for all the movie release to come out and just watch it all at once. I will have some extra time when the summer starts anyways.

Exactly HOW many people did they bring together to do that rendition of the opening?

Well I suppose there's the PR aspect to it.

Massive PR aspect. They've been releasing names more or less one at a time for the last month.

I think someone mentioned that added in character names on screen to introduce the characters like they did in the original series.

From what I understand they did that to the Director's Cut of the Yamato:Resurrection movie as well. Adding the tags as it was more like the original, and because in at least one scene, having the tells you what was going on, since they forget to make it clear in the following scene.

So how is this new series different from the one last year? Does this continue from where it left off?

This series is starting from the beginning on TV, as what the plan.

It started last year in theaters, then released on BD and finally (now) on Television. Last year they released episode one online as a massive preview, but otherwise is was not shown on TV until now.

The episodes in the theater is up to episode 14 as well as the BD released. Episodes 15-18 will be out next week in theaters and on BD in seven weeks.

Episode two will be out next week on TV. The TV episodes are slightly different. They have new version of the OP (with a 35 all-star singing group) and will have a different ED. The episodes are also modifed to ahve tags to identify characters, places and things for the audiance like it did in the original series. They also might have fixed any slight errors they had in the theater releases.

Which ones? Those with all the episode images? So... you want a poster half the size that those are? 'Cause those babies are B1 sized. I have the set on it's way to my grubby hands. I'm trying to get a 3rd one since there are 2 different versions on one side with the same picture on the back. Also managed to get this...

Yep, it's newspaper paper (pardon the redundancy) quality but it's just a beautiful image.

Next... try and get one of those MBS Clear Files... XDDD
