Yeah that was good, i mean really good. Thankfully it wasn't heavy story related, though it really does seem like i need to start reading the manga again . I read this part in the manga though stopped shortly after. Looks like i need to go back to it pretty soon.

Animation was easily A+, along with pretty much a whole new voice cast for the series. Seeing as how much went into this OVA (and future ones), it is a shame that we're not getting a TV series instead.

OADs and OVAs have a larger budget. I wouldn't mind them continuing this way.

I loved the in air repair scene.

Yeah i do know that, though some TV shows can rival OVA budgets.

I am still quite sad that they never continued the anime after the first series. It was really exciting and fun to watch. Did the DVD sells not do well, or did the mangaka just did not want to continue with the anime (much like Tenjou Tenge)?

Very nice OVA.
Can't wait to see the second one, possibly better animated, because this seemed more like a bunch of still images than an animation...

P.S: also, strange thing, they didn't put a lot of the information of the manga, so I'm happy that I've read the manga before watching this.
Now I really have to restart reading it, though, because I'm still at the beginning of the tower story.

Great ova. Sure that for the people who didn't read the manga would be confused.

Next ova Original Sleeping Forest vs Kogarasumaru ? Wow this will be great but they'll skip lot of chapters too.

wow, great ova, though i need to read the manga, as i'm totally confused, that's what happens when i hold out for a second season and get denied, oh well, so a second ova is on the way, can't wait for that, hopefully i can at least part of the manga until that one comes out, just for reference what chapter did the original anime end at, because i'll probably just pick up from there

Not gonna bother to watch it, since I gave up on Air Gear long ago (it's too long and complicated, and I'm far too lazy to take the time to catch up with the whole thing), but I'm happy to see that Kururu's hair is officially pink and not blonde. <3

Since this OVA's little storyline is probably one of Ogure's very few example of decent writing, I took the time to watch all the subs available. So, If you need subs to watch this, Commie's are the most accurate of the bunch. I recommend that.

Man on man, if the original anime had at least HALF of what this OVA had, it would have been awesome. Ikki's and Ringo's voices were freakin awesome - and the animation only played up to how awesome the VA's performances were. So many memories of reading that entire section of the manga over and over came flooding back.
