Well, there aren't many human males around to ship her with -- Rin-Rin is out for obvious reasons, and the other zoo keeper is just kinda there -- so unless you're going to go corss-species, Handa's really the only character she could end up with.

I liked Polar Bear's wish a lot too, it seems appropriate for a polar bear.

Polar Bear's wish should have seemed obvious, but I still laughed like hell.

And Panda's wish was heartwarming, and not something I'd expect from him. He hasn't changed much since Episode 1, but it's showing little by little.

And Penguin's wish, I literally facepalmed for that one.

And Handa definitely has the hots for Sasako. I hope they can hook up, aside from Handa's sorta strange personality around women.

I loved the atmosphere of this episode. It still have fun bits so I wouldn't refuse other episodes similar to this one.
It had to be a great episode since Sasako-san had a lot of screening.
I thought I'd see Handa x Sasako fanarts but there are rather Shirokuma x Sasako pictures

All the attention is on the new season, of course, but Shirokuma is just getting better and better even with no one seemingly paying attention. The seiyuu work in this ep is really lights-out.

Dop Mmmm.... Join Date: Sep 2006	I kind of felt sorry for Mr Handa this episode. Spoiler for 12: First you have the pandas making trouble for him by bringing in a table, having tea, and reading, then they decide to play mahjong, and Mr Full-Time Panda displayed his model making skills. There's a wonderful piece of dialogue, where full-time Panda tells Panda what he's making. "Oh", says Panda. "Don't say Oh", says Mr Full Time Panda, "you sound like my wife!" Then on top of that both pandas openly mock Handa's lack of a lovelife! Still, it's not all bad for Handa-san, as the end of the episode definitely pointed to the possibility of something between him and Sasako. Meanwhile Polar Bear only has the chance for a few puns and one bit of cross-dressing this episode. Glad to hear this is going to be a two cour show!
