Looking for historical romance

Hello again!

I am looking for something historical, but something very specific. I am looking for an anime/manga series like Anatolia Story. It has an historical /magical background, romance.

Does anyone know a series that fits?

Thanks in advanced

Kanata Kara is good. It's not really historical, but it's the same type of story (and much better imho).

Ouke no Monshou
Saver
Masca
Legend of Nereid
Ryo
Sexy simpleton
Princess
Cantarella
Fushigi Yuugi
The Queens knight
Bride of the water God
....

They are all manga titles, pretty much what you are looking for, for the most part at least XD

If you don't mind fantasy settings, Saiunkoku Monogatari might be an option. It takes place in a fictitious Asian country that looks similar to T'ang China and has a dash of romance. There are two other shows I'd recommend that are similar to Saiunkoku in terms of settings, but don't have much in the way of romance -- Twelve Kingdoms and Seirei no Moribito.

Much of the historical material in Oh! Edo Rocket is accurate, though the show itself is entirely anachronistic. Cute main couple, too.

Glad you like it. You might check out Miriam, Otogimoyou Ayanishiki, and maybe even Chizumi & Fujiomi by the same mangaka.
