List & scenes that makes me psychically rages me on so many levels that never forget.

- Shou used his own daughter to transmute into chimera.
- Scar breaks Ed's automail arm into pieces.
- Maes Hughes got killed by Gracia Hughes (Envy).
- King bradley kills martel inside alphonse armor. Alphonse wasn't yet knowing that Bradley is Wrath.
- Winry cries after she finds out that Scar has killed her parents during the Ishvalan war.
- Envy's drastically evil smile
- Envy was the one who started the Ishvalan war on purpose.
- Ling Yao has possessed by Greed
- An embarrassment feeling about Lan Fan about what happened to Ling Yao.
- Scar fails to stop Kimblee
- Even Edward tries to stopped him but it fails. This makes me enraged even more.
- Gluttony is back from the dead
- Pride Captures Alphonse hostage
- Pride killed his own partner, Gluttony

so there you have it.

Have any of you been watching the dub on Adult Swim? They sure seem to be trimming the episodes down, from a shortened intro, to no episode preview, I guess in Japan they must have had a lot smaller commercial breaks. I'm not sure if the early episodes had them, I can't remember but are they cutting out any of the epilogue scenes?

This only involves FMA because the creator is involved, but does this site have a thread on Hero Tales, I tried looking but didn't find one. It's a really good Manga series.

There's a thread for the anime here. But I can't find any manga thread for this one.

About Adult Swim, I heard they had the record of cutting out epilogue scenes before but I'm not sure.

Well they do cut out the ones for bleach, but they're usually just omake and not relevant to the plot. Unlike the ones for, also thanks for the link, didn't know they had planned an anime already.

Niiiiiiiice Instant import
So my rewatch starts on the 23th August, good to know.

The english dub will be superior to the german one anyway.

(... sniffing around th UK store I also see that the DVDs of the first series are around 10€ cheaper <_< ... hmmm)

It is learned that according to ANN, Heinkel's voice are actually Shinpachi Tsuchi, not Tesshou Genda, Apparently.

I've been watching the english dub that's been on AS, and overall I've been pretty happy with it. After watching the latest episode (15) Ling's va = fail. I'm hoping he doesn't suck so much as Greed as well.

But he won't be doing Greed. That'll be Chris Patton.

His VA has always been fail. He ruined Allen Walker in DGM too (though, Kanda's transition from suave Japanese swordsman to James Earl Jones didn't help that dub either).

Oho, something to consider.

Now that it's done, I was thinking how to approach watching it. I read that the beginning is a lot like the first series and then it branches off and follows the manga more closely after awhile. Which episode starts the separation from the first anime? I was thinking maybe I'd watch the ones that are like the first anime one day and then marathon the rest the next day if the divide happens close to the start.

^Episode 15 is where new characters (who are not in the 1st FMA) are introduced and marks the seperation of Brotherhood from the first anime.

New characters is only in episode 15 indeed, but episode 14 is already completely different from anything the first anime did, so I'd say the split starts there.

Hey guys, I've found several 4-koma specials of FMA which can be found on DVDs. If you want to watch, I've posted it on 'A Laugh a day' Thread.
