Being in Melbourne, a good Samaritan is a rare find indeed. The camera does have my name on it, and isn't some super-expensive SLR, just a budget digicam for home users. However, I have my doubts that someone will turn. The Metro lost property office is closed on weekends, I will need to call them tomorrow morning.

But the good news is V/Line collected my Bleach Messenger bag. I called them, and they will be transferring the bag back to Southern Cross for me to collect! ^^

I am growing very bored of the default Windows 7 UI... I want something new.

Actually would like a transparent dockbar similar to OSX, but I don't want it centered.

RocketDock or ObjectDock would be the way to go. Skyy mentioned before Nexus Dock. I would try Xwindows dock

Pair that alongside with a Win7 OSX VS and it's good to go

I figured it out. It's basically the same as with Windows XP and the uxtheme patching, only more annoying and obtuse. Picked up a nice transparent/white skin and replaced the Start orb with something more fitting.

I've been messing with Rainmeter and various other system monitor tools, but I am dismayed. There does not seem to be an "all in one" solution. Rainmeter does a lot but it doesn't do GPU status. Actually, most HW monitors do not do GPU status!

Maybe I just can't figure it out, but what I'd like to do is have a minimalist, simple yet attractive text side panel with a clock, calendar, CPU utilization (all cores) + temp, GPU utilization + temp, RAM + swap utilization, network utilization, HDD status and so on. I gather that Rainmeter can do all of this but I haven't been able to make it do so.

Edit: Oh yeah, here's my new UI. Visual style is Windows 7 Shine 2.0. Start Orb is "Mac-like Windows Orb" by Ring of Hell.

I wonder if I can edit the already-created visual style to change the glows on the minimize/maximize and window/fullscreen buttons to glow silver or white instead of blue?

I have a few other themes, one I like that's a translucent black and goes nicely with an Android-style Home icon replacement for the Start Orb. But it doesn't match this wall too well.

Well with a avatar + signature, and now a desktop background, it wouldn't be surprising if anyone fell in love with Kotonoha They all look magnificently adorable.

Hah... well, interestingly enough, if you were to actually watch School Days, you wouldn't look at her the same way again. I just find myself to be forgiving and able to overlook... certain things...

Plus, I think I'm just going through another "phase" where I find myself obsessed with another anime character...
