The show is great, but why are Ureshiis and Triads versions so different?

Ureshii's is the special, Triad's is the first episode; and yes, they have lots of similarities.

I had no idea what i watched the other week was the special, i always thought it was the first episode.

Anyway it's great to watch again, and i'm glad to see the park scene will be in the second episode. Can't wait for it.

DMC! DMC! DMC!

The special, or teaser, is half of ep1 and half of ep2
I wonder why is this not moved to the sub section yet since Triad did release ep1

Exclamation Detroit Metal City !!! GO TO DMC !!!!

Holy smokes! I lost internet for an entire month... and when I came back I see that they made an anime out that insane manga Detroit Metal City!

Why didn't anyone tell me? Not knowing who I am is no excuse for those of us serving the great Krauser-sama! You should have called everyone who might have BitTorrent.

Wow, that was a fun anime... totally keeping with the terrible cheap art, filthy language, parodies, and amusing romantic misunderstandings in the manga. Anime seems to be more cleaned up these days than in times past, I'm glad they kept the horrible stuff like that nasty psycho band president.

I'm also impressed with the music, the death metal was worth looking for the album, and the wussy music was appropriately bouncy. I'm glad they didn't intentionally make either one of them overtly sucky just as a joke. I can't wait for more of this!

Oh man, the drinking/karaoke scenes were absolute genius. It's truly amazing how funny this show can be.

Go to DMC! Go to DMC!

As a long time listener of Death and Black Metal, I enjoyed the satire of the genre and its public. The contrast between Krauser the character and Negishi was just too much for me. That was a great offering in this summer.

Can you guys help me out? What's that song that bespectacled girl sings at the karaoke? It sounds extremely familiar, but I just can't place it. Possibly from some other anime?

Thanks.

The ANN database says a live action movie was released recently. Anybody have some subs for that? It's got to be pure comic gold.

wow....seriously...WOW....

This is the funniest anime I have watched in years...I laughed so hard I cried.

It's just that the characters are so different in the band vs daily life...and that band manager.

There's just no words on how FUNNY it is.

This has easily made my top 10 all time...and I've watched hundreds of series...I hope the remaining 22 episodes don't dissapoint.

I'm already on the edge of my seat waiting for EP3 to come out.

It's like the good old craving, when you cannot wait to see what happens and you need the next episode NOW...

Amazing..you have to check it out!!!

Also, the references are insane...best one is him eating bats like ozzy osbourne...and the zombies like michael jackson...FUNNY

That was just mad and brilliant.
Same here. It's become one of my favourite comedy anime already. Can't wait for episode three.

The film looks pretty cool too.
