Well, I just saw this episode RAW and even though I am not japanese nor can I understand any but I could basically tell what was going on and stuff, with a sense of understanding for CERTAIN words such as "Elric Brothers" and stuff like that.

HAHA, it was another AMAZING episode I'd like to add - yet sadly, didn't have as much action in it. Now I'm sure, those that understand japanese much better than I do can correct me if I'm wrong or whatnot, so please do so if you find an error in my brief explaination about what went on.

Now, I apologize if any of you didn't understand a single thing I was saying, it's just I haven't gotten much sleep lately plus, I am not the best at understanding japanese but I did the best to summarize the episode from what I understood. Anyways, hope you enjoy ^^

the manga is so different now...

You guys noticed they changed Al's monologue before the intro, right? I'm trying to figure out exactly what he says. I know he talks about the philosopher's stone allowing them to change the rules of equivalent trade. Can anyone understand the whole thing?

Yeah, from what I noticed, it was a figure of Al's human body as well so to answer your question, yes it was Al.

Also, about Lust...
Yeah, I think whoever said it before is right, the Master will probably not KILL her but maybe make her more EVIL, a more meaner Homunculus. Either that or she's just gonna end up helping Ed and Al somehow or whatnot, but not become GOOD.

How many episodes are going to be in Full Metal Alchemist anyway? If anyone can plz answer (still a newbie)

Weren't only 51 episodes licensed? I heard they changed it from 52 to 51

HAHA, it was another AMAZING episode I'd like to add - yet sadly, didn't have as much action in it. Now I'm sure, those that understand japanese much better than I do can correct me if I'm wrong or whatnot, so please do so if you find an error in my brief explaination about what went on. What Went On: Spoiler: Basically, the Elric Brothers have decided to set out to Resembool while at at the ruined Lior, the mess is being cleaned up and everything. From there, it seems that the Fuhrer (Pride) has ordered Roy Mustang and his crew to find and capture the Elric Brothers. Even though they are kind of reluctant, since it is an order from the Fuhrer, Roy and his crew head out towards Resembool (assuming that the Elric Brothers are heading there) and so they go. Not long, it shows a scene with Pride (Fuhrer), Gluttony (looking worried) and Sloth all gathered at a back of a train with Lust, hung by three swords (looks like Pride's swords) to the wall of the room the Homunculus have gathered. (it seems that Lust is getting punished . ) ANYWAYS, from there, Hohenheim has already been introduced to Winry, Scieska and Auntie Pinako and this episode, you can see a clear shot of his face ^^, he kind of sounds like Edward in a way . After a while, you see the Elric Brothers and Roy Mustang and his crew are in some forest area near where Winry, Auntie Pinako, Hohenheim and such are and yeah. (btw, Winry had heard stuff about Edward and Alphonse so she in search for them too, and with the help of Hohenheim, she is told to go to the forest area because they are most likely there). Anyways, after a series of events, Ed and Al end up running away from Roy's crew (even ending up hurting a few of them) and Winry and Sciezka end up being captured by Roy Mustang and such. Then, soon enough, Ed and Al are confronted by Roy Mustang, his crew, and Major Louis Armstrong and they KIND OF battle it out in way (more like "defend and run") and after, what I presume to be Roy talking about him killing the Rockbell's, the episode ends. Now, I apologize if any of you didn't understand a single thing I was saying, it's just I haven't gotten much sleep lately plus, I am not the best at understanding japanese but I did the best to summarize the episode from what I understood. Anyways, hope you enjoy ^^

Spoiler: ...I see they overhauled the intro with the photo, slightly different music and photo sequence ending with Ed and Al as they are now. Also no flames...hmm... Ed and Al coming into contact seemed to trigger memories of the 'Truth', with a vision of Al's body beyond the gate. We haven't seen Al performing alchemy yet, so we don't know if he's gained the same abilities as Ed. Ed's keeping his distance from Al though, as he doesn't want to trigger any more of these memories. I think Ed said he was heading back to Risembool because of Sloth, not sure though. He must now know he's got to get something of the original Trisha to defeat her. That's probably his motivation now, to remove the Sin they created... Oh no, they've skewered Lust. Clearly Pride isn't letting her get away with allowing Ed and Al to escape. Poor Gluttony, looking like a fat lost sheep Scieska was up to her usual goofy self, giving whatshisname a bloody nose in the process. Good to see Maria Ross again too, looking quite sexy for a change. Hohenheim is kind of cool, clearly he was somewhat overwhelmed by the ruins of his old house the Trisha's grave. Looks like it was confession time for Roy, though will need some cutlery to be certain. Riza was being protective of him again. Next ep looks like an awkward family reunion. I noticed Roze briefly in the preview with a look of horror or surprise on her face. I'll hazard a guess that Pride has taken Lust to be 'corrected' by the Master in Central...perhaps we'll get to met him or her next episode...

Spoiler for evin tho teh hole thread iz spoilar lolz!1111one: Hohenheim seemed very...unthreatening , not quite what I was expecting. Granted it was our first time even seeing him, but I had imagined something a little more sinister with his introduction. Guess I should wait until next weeks episode, when Ed meets him. Seems like a nice guy though Overall a good episode, pretty funny and some important plot moments (LUST ). I agree about Ed's plan to remove "their" sin. Seems like the most likely reason they would return home, to get um, a piece of Trisha (god that sounds disgusting). It was very interesting when Al touched Ed, and the flash of the "gate" was shown. I wonder what the side effects of actually BEING the stone are. Also, it would be interesting to see if the Elrics will learn about Hughes' death any time soon, given Roys apparent confession, seems like a good time to me... Ah, so many questions, why does it have to end so soon?

Spoiler: Great episode, full of info as well as some funny parts to lighten the mood from the last few episodes. new intro by Al: The philospher stone. With it, the principle of equivalent trade can be violated. We have been looking for it, and we found it.. Archer is stillll alive (can u believe it!!!), with half of his head gone. Furhur ordered Roy and company to capture Ed and Al, and of they cannot capture them they have to kill them. Furhur/pride, sloth and gluttony boarded the train, with lust as captive. Hohenheim seems like a nice, harmless and blur (and tall) person at first, but looks can be deceiving. In fact, he said that he used to travel to the east along the river before the railways are being built, and tt was a 100+ years ago according to Maria Ross. Windy and Scieska rode a "motorbike" to look for Ed and Al along the river, since they will be coming back from the east. roy and company found Ed and Al, and attempted to capture them. Roy encountered windy and Scieska and took them as hostages. After much chasing and alchemistry, Roy had Ed and Al cornered. Roy slowly approached the helpless Ed and Al. Seeing this, windy shouted "Stop it! please.." Roy then confessed that he killed the 2 doctors as orders against his will before and after that incident, he sweared that he will no longer follow orders blindly. He said the reason he is chasing them now is not because of the orders, but because he is ANGRY with Ed and Al. For running away instead of seeking for his help. Hearing this , Ed gave a small smile.

BTW why do they still erase Hohenheim's face And as a final note am I the only one here who finds the entire Ed & Al running to home completly unrealistic (Al I can understand) but Ed? No way.
