but to me, unfortunately the "Mikuru" was actually infact, a crossdressing Mitsuru, so its a trap-pairing pic

Well, you never know. Energetic Tsuruya(f), full of self-confidence, could take to Mitsuuru out of her maternal instinct and help him through all his troubles. And in return, Mitsuuru would probably be an extremely devoted boyfriend -- inasfar as he is allowed to be one, anyway. Could give some more depth to his character if he had to start working to balance his work with his budding relationship. And if he had to choose between the two in the end, that'd provide some interesting drama. Either he becomes Mitsuuru, the man who defies fate for love, or Mitsuuru, the man who gives up his personal feelings in the name of duty. In either case, he becomes a mite cooler, no?
