Konoe makes a good addition to the cast, especially since they're such a bunch of oddballs to begin with. She basically ends up being a complete airhead; putting a tablecloth on her desk, misunderstanding what others said, falling asleep on other people's lap, wandering around looking at birds, having feathers from said birds stuck in her hair, and just all around being clumsy and somewhat confused. The mystery over how she's related to Hecate and Bal Masque also keeps you interested, and should make for a good overarching plotline.

also thought Yoshida was a riot this week, as they have her so absorbed with the usual "oh no! what if Konoe is a tomogara! I have to protect sakai, etc., etc." that she got hit in the face with a volleyball. And then when she went into exposition mode, Konoe just falls asleep on Yoshida's lap. glad to see they're not taking themselves too seriously here. (was also funny to see Margery start to mutter her usual battlecry that she'll destroy any denizen who shows up...only to fall asleep before she finished.)

the Tomogara of the week wasn't anything special, but he was fun while he lasted. (got in way over his head) Fight was enjoyable, pleased to see Shana actually hitting something. There wasn't nearly as big a rift between Shana and Yuji either when it came to the testing if Konoe was a human or not as I had thought there'd be, which is too bad. still, with Shana being convinced Konoe's a human out of the way, I suppose Konoe can move up to being another rival for Yuji's affection (though from what I've seen so far, Yuji is just being friendly and Shana's going to misunderstand that...as usual -_- Yoshida seems to be in the same deal, but she never really acts on her fears until pushed to the limit, so I'm not really interested in her non-action and usual stalking)


looks like everything's finally taken off, first episode this season I throughly enjoyed from start to finish. Anyway, next week seems to be Shana hitting Yuji on the head with a stick, which is always fun.

Nice episode!

Margery- ...... she's been rather useless these days... Well, she got up to test Fumina, though she only ended up scaring some birds.

Shana/Yuuji/Yoshida- Shana gets overly suspicious (Minus points from me ), Yuuji is willing to believe her, and Kazumi gets worked up only to get hit with a volleyball and act as a pillow.

The Denizen- What's his name?... Couldn't hear it too well. Stupid idiot, rushing in without preperation...

Matake- Ah, she seems to be having fun.

Fumina- The new character that causes so much trouble without knowing it. She gets confronted twice by Shana, but at least they believe she's human now. She seems to have had quite the "ojou-sama" life, where she believes that food is supposed to be served to you and people help you dress. She even decided to take someone's seat, just like that, hahaha~ She also likes birds and gets attached to Yuuji.
Her butler is called "Jiiya" *sweatdrop*......

Next time- The Daily Life of Fumina + Two Jealous Girls...... Wonder what will happen next~?

I did not say it last time, but Shana in a ponytail is the cutest thing ever. I have to add girls in ponytail's look alot better than any other style. (at least for me )

not really sure what the heck he was saying his name was...or at least can't find any probable mythic base names.

As I was watching this, I got this question: What if there was a way for Hecate to take on a human form.....


I'm not sure if it works in this world system, but if that's the case, maybe she's trying to "fill" her empty inside with memories, like what she did in season 1.

your guess is as good as mine

did notice that konoe has a little bracelet on her right hand all the time though, and most of the characters' accessories tend to be important. if Hecate did 'become human', maybe it has something to do with that. (Hougu, unrestricted spell, plot hole, etc.)

Shana staff is pretty interesting in their humor execution. Or is it a carryover from the original novels?

well, if you've seen the Shana-tan specials they included on the dvds, you know this staff has a pretty off-kilter sense of humor.

I can't offhand remember anything quite as crazy in the show proper as what happened to Yoshida this week, but on the other hand this really is nothing compared to what they do when they're allowed to just animate pure comedy.

bleh! i still believe that the girl is hecate in disguise. Maybe sent in as a spy + memory wipe so that she cant be detected or have her powers sealed away.
A pretty nice ep and its nice to see shana less stubbon for once. she and yoshida might have to join forces against a common enemy now
