Actually, japanese April fools jokes are extremely elaborated; so in order to fit a "japanese April fools" mood this should have needed snapshots, name reveal, video footage, seiyuu interviews and whatnot

If you read the end of that thread there is an apologize from the author saying it's a joke, the maid girl in thepic is Haimura's illust of the character from "Maid Deka" which is another LN.
