Awai can do a table ' doosara' it seems to me. Certainly it pertains more towards an off-break style of bowling in my eyes.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doosra BTW anyone familiar with the game of cricket should be well acquainted with any and all 'sudden power-ups' eg a tail-end batsman suddenly scoring a brace of fifties when before their highest score might be around 20 or so, a non bowling batsman called on by his captain takes the only five wickets in his career to win a match. With this prior knowledge from the real world has explained a lot of what has happened in the series so far.

I'm not sure how Side-A is doing sales-wise, but I'm sure Saki main route will sell well. Nodoka is the cash cow of the franchise, I'm sure.

Nodoka is top 3 in my list for best Saki girls. The other two being Toki and Kokaji. Nodoka is top-tier moe, truly for refined tastes.
There are very few characters in Saki who have the substantive personality to actually disapprove of others. Nodoka's prim, proper, and deadpan "princess" attitude is one of her best traits, while her conviction in her love for mahjong makes her one of the story's most important characters. Nodoka is respectable because her strength/conviction comes from a pure/genuine love for mahjong itself, something which I don't think can be said of most of the fans which criticise her. Then there's also the factor of Nodoka's beautiful/sensitive soul underneath, which truly loves her friends and will even restrain her belief in her way of mahjong out of respect for their feelings. The truth is, Nodoka is pretty much perfect for her role in a mahjong manga, and is one of the most important characters in the series. Although her style isn't as flashy/scores aren't as impressive as other supposed 'monster' players in the story, from a standpoint of Saki being more than just a fantasy manga about powerlevels and what the story actually wants to say about the game of mahjong, Nodoka is one of the most important characters of all. I only learned to appreciate Nodoka after many years in the Saki fandom, but I basically find the criticism she constantly receives from the fanbase for her appearance or adherence to her digital attitude to be completely unwarranted. It's incredibly shallow to write her off for those surface factors. Nodoka represents, in many ways, a great part of the very heart of what Saki as a series is. |

I fear that without Nodoka (and perhaps a few other characters like her) this show would basically be Yu-Gi-Oh + yuri + mahjong (in place of a children's card game ). Nodoka keeps it borderline real.

Spoiler for WARNING: Once you see this, you'll need it to live:
P.S: I think the real part of mahjong is better portrayed when it's pitted against the occult and proves to be an equal match, not just the former denying the latter simply because. |

Yeah, for all the flack Hiroe gets in comparison because of how she pretty much flim-flammed Hisa (pimp incarnate), she does it with no help from lesbian hax, which I have to point out even Nodoka's "Nodocchi Mode" is borderline close to.

Actually, you can't even call it lesbian hax because she got it from playing pretty much alone for over a year, she's like that for lack of contact with other females, it's literally the anti-lesbian hax. Also, she doesn't have big moments in the table. Stuff like Toki literally risking her health to stop Teru or Ako grinding her gears trying to figure out her next move. She just pops up, Touka gets wet, disses at least one player without even realizing, then leaves. BORING.

As a manga reader, I'm not particularly looking forward to this final episode as I've already gotten most of what I wanted to see in the previous episode. Still, observing how the (non-spoiled) anime only audiences react to the final episode will be more or less the icing-on-the-cake so to say. Since this is where Achiga officially end, I've prepared my final thoughs regarding this side story.
