Here at Nisemono-Fansubs we strive to put our best foot forward into to release quality subs at a steady pace. The projects we are currently doing for spring are Nabari no Ou and Kure-nai.
We are looking for Translation Checkers who are of course fluent in both the japanese and english languages well enough to be able to correct any mistakes that the translator may have made during the translation progress.
Editors are there to correct the english errors and make sure that there is proper grammar and sentence structure. The sentences must flow as well as sound and look correct when read.
The timers that we are looking for must be experienced at fine timing, which consists of splitting lines, adding lead in and lead out, scene timing and making sure that all the lines are timed at the right place.
Lastly is QCers. QCers are here to watch the near final release and let the rest of the staff on that project know if there is any mistakes in any of the areas. QCers check for errors in timing, editing, encoding, karaoke, and basically anything that they believe should be corrected.

SD Project is looking for one or two(or as many as are interested) fine translators who have some free time on their hands and love one of the shows we're doing to help us catch up and continue, or who love a new series from the spring or the upcoming summer season to do something. The show we need help to continue is D.Gray-man. We have a ton of episodes that we've already translated and are being worked on but if we had a little extra boost translation wise we'd release a lot faster, and since there doesn't seem to be an end to D.Gray-man in sight, we could catch up before it's over! I know that there is a wanted section that is stickied, but it is specifically for unlicensed anime. I would like to ask for help of a non-anime project. There is a musical group that is up and comming called perfume. They are a techno pop/ idol group.

Currently there is no one subbing their tv show Happy! It is a 10-12 minute show that is a typical tv talk show. I would be interested in speaking with anyone who would be interested in joining this fansubbing project for happy!

As far as help goes, I am looking for whatever you can do. What I am looking for the hardest is a translator. But I really would be willing to use whatever talents you have. Are you a timer, time for me. Are you by any chance and encoder, encode some happy!. Is there any possibilty you are a karaoke specialist? I will find a way to use you. If you wish to typeset, let's go. What I am saying is, if you have an interest in perfume, lets get together and tackle this, ne? Drop me a PM, lets talk.

Okay, so I wanna start a fansub group just for giggles,
and fansub only episodes that I or the group find epic in one way or another.
For me, watching Gintama episode 100 subbed this year is an absolute because I got into anime because of Dragonball.
