I'm curious to see the end of it all, but would not be surprised that Mikoto ended up forgetting all the events that happened when she got back to normal and Misaki controlled someone to inject a drug into Touma to erase the memories of the last hours.

With all the events that happened in AC and the World never figured out, I would say they have more than enough control over what information leaves the city.

Kuroko says she will check the cameras' blind spots manually, but Mitori's Stand attacks before she can
Gensei continues walking despite the electricity flowing through the floor
Misaki says she thought only the #1 could reach Level 6 and he says only the #1 can become a stable Level 6 but Mikoto can reach Level 6 while going berserk
At 53% Mikoto's personality will transform into something from another dimension and at 100% she will reach Level 6
Gensei expects she will be destroyed as an individual once her body and mind exceed their limits
In other words, Mikoto cannot become a stable Level 6, but she can provide an instantaneous glimpse of the realm of god in exchange for losing everything
Gensei doesn't know what exactly will happen as a result, but AC will certainly be destroyed
Misaki questions him about the fact that he would be killed too, but a hole opens up in front of her and a beam of light shoots through
The beam grazes her side and forms an ice crystal when it hits the wall, holding her in place
Gensei then appears through the hole
Gensei: Ha ha ha. What are you saying? Scientific advances always come with sacrifices.
Misaki: This is why I hate dealing with people who have low sanity ability.

YES! so he can't just one-hit KO her, I think I can accept his appearance now.
Also, who is going to be that "someone"?
- Even if Mitori is stopped, it would not stop the power from going into Mikoto.
- The researcher looks hopeless and Gensei must have placed protection on the Sister.
- Saten's bat can cause amnesia, but probably won't fix her brain (nor whole network) and neither can Xochitl.
- Maybe Accel will play a role with Last Order or even Kiyama.

Yeah, but stopping Gensei does not stops the "source of Mikoto's power".
It might not even gain her access to Exterior, because it's brainwave is now synced with Gensei.
On top of that, she isn't looking like progressing anywhere
(nearly looks like she already lost, if someone does not comes to help her)
And even when she beats him, she has to run back to the Sister.

It's quite a lot considering how fast is Mikoto progressing, so I think it's unlikely it's going to be her.
Though it's possible Xochitl is going to help her now, as she already lost if she does not comes.

PS: why she hasn't fixed the Sister first? Gensei is already far away from her.
PSS: If we just knew how far Mikoto progressed by now, we can calculate how many chapters are remaining to those 52%

Gunha will decide he can tank Mikoto solo and toss Touma in Gensei's general direction to break his illusion.

Currently Misaki is working towards that goal. Whether she can handle the job by herself or will require assistance, is impossible to say at this time.

I'm starting to wonder if Uiharu will ever meet Touma. I know she did in Indexchu, but it would be interesting to see her meet him in the main canon.

I just wanted to say that have a while (about 10 chapters) that Misaki took this role(in the beginning she used questionable methods, but it was in the beginning), calm down, this is normal, this has happened even with Touman in Index.

ps: Why Touma's hair is little spiky that arc? remember that in his fight against Accelerator it was normal, I hope this is fixed soon

Well that could be just from you. But if you come to think of the previous chapters, her intentions had already long contradicted of her being a supposedly arc-villain.

And I don't think she would pummel Mikoto to dust just like that either.

Not necessarily.

They didn't say it's a permanent transformation of her personality.

The part "Mikoto's personality will transform" is already a death indicator:
- she already is like a completly different being with her own mind fading more and more.
- at that point there will be nothing of her left and thus nothing to be reversed back
- they said "will transform" and not "will be possesed" or "will attain" or something that imply reversible event
- if, at that point, there will be nothing left of her (her mind exceeded the limit), then this will apply:
Gensei expects she will be destroyed as an individual once her body and mind exceed their limits
- This pretty much says it. Being "destroyed as an individual" tends to be irreversible.
