I voted for Rika Chama

I really like the composition of the image, the consistent oriental theme happening. The girl has really nice hair, and her kimono is really nice too. It just had a overall good feel to it and I found it very heartwarming.

RAS Productions yours was a very well done drawing. Very skillful indeed. It was also nice to see something completely different in the social group gallery haha XD;
I think your drawing shows a very good representation of Japan. But when it came down to voting, I still had to go for an entry that had elements of anime included. Its a personal preference thing. But nonetheless your entry is unarguably a very strong addition.

Zhaxra(man I always have to look up how to type your name lol) Yours was probably the most fun to look at XD. I give it high score for the comedic side. But I felt that in such contests, a single framed image with lots of composition work should get the win. I know the way you presented your entry is a style itself, but this is just the way I went about voting

I voted for Rika Chama. I really like the style it is done in and the color blending. On the other note, I think that Zhaxra's is hilarious. Good job.

Have to break my own Code here and Vote for RAS :Hurls: ok sorry, never thought I would Vote for RAS, Ever, But I feel his is the Best representation of the Beauty of Japan. although I do REALLY find Zhaxra's Hysterical beyond Belief. Rika's is Incredibly Cool though. this isn't Fair!!! Why do you all have to be so Good!?!?

@kayos-Exactly right. Acrylic with a wood frame. Unfortunately I had it professionally framed, and they didn't tell me the frame wouldn't come off later. So I couldn't scan it. And I wasn't about to destroy it trying to get it out, as much as I hate taking pictures of artwork.

A little note here, after discusing it in the group, because June is a period of exams for many guys and July is vacations (Which means going to the beach and get some chicks, yuhoooo!) we will have a June-July contest next time, which means that submission will start on June but voting phase will start until July, to see more information visit the groupo of Artists Alike and From Afar.
