Hn, a nice lil story with plenty of deep meaning in it.

And I'll relent - Sun IS adorable. Like 'I'll protect her with my life' kinda cute. She's certainly worth the effort of such - I see no problem with Gin wanting to protect her as much as he does. I think I'll use Gin's last pic for my avy for a while now so usspaul can get my current one back.

And methinks that Sun's power can cancel out whatever effect that soul-stealing song thing that one guy plays. She'll probably use her power to save the human idiot. Why do I think that? Because Rosario is such a manga... I wouldn't miss him if he died but Sun's too nice to let even an idiot like him die if she can do something about it. Hooray for friendship~ and good human/youkai relations~

Either that, or Sun's voice is the origin of those songs. I'm seriously thinking that she is a Siren, and she's too ashamed to use her voice again after she realised the power her voice possesses.

It annoys me that the regular group asked the other group to pull their release when they're going to be sloven about their own release....

It wasn't like the cleaners were all sitting around sipping lemonade and chortling about how funny it is to make people wait for the scans. The high quality raw provider was late so the scans were late. We want to do high quality scans for Rosario to Vampire so rather than try and get a lower quality scan out based upon lower quality raws they waited three weeks to get a high quality version. Cleaning a low quality scan to get high quality takes ages, and Franky House is working on a dozen or so other series at the same time and just doesn't have the time to put that much work on each chapter. They are speed scanners for the weekly shonen jump series after all. So if it's going to be done in high quality then they need a high quality raw Plus the other group didn't even denoise their raws which made it even more undesirable.

All I'm saying is, is if someone is not going to do something on time, and someone else is willing to do it on time, that someone have no right to stop the other.

If they are public translations then yes, but if the translator elects someone to do the scan then you need to get their permission to use it, which they didn't. When I first read Rosario to Vampire I actually read the first chapter starting at about 8.30 pm at night. I read the whole series through till 5.30 am in the morning, it was light outside when I had finished . Never done that with any other series. I never actually thought that I would be translating it one day myself, so when it ended up that I was doing them I wanted to make sure that it is released in high quality (some of the early season 2 scans are really bad). And since Franky House was doing it in high quality (well also I had already started translating another manga for them just a little while before) I agreed to translate for Franky House meaning that they have first dibs on the trans when doing the scan. And if they are going to wait three weeks for a good quality raw to come out then so be it.

Well the chapter is finally out... but I thought they would do a better job at qc'ing since the delay was already so long.

There's a bunch of new trainees who started recently and this was the first chapter that a couple of them worked on, everyone has to start somewhere though.

But the positive side to this late release is that the next chapter is only a week away, I think everyone will be really happy they only need to wait a really short amount of time until the next one.

... in terms of RAW, yes, we only have another week. But the scanlation, which is what about 90% of the posters in this thread read, may take far longer to get out, as this chapter just demonstrated

That is what I like about manga's like these. You see the art improve and characters age or if they train muscles or some other things are shown that make them look different physically from what they where before.

R+V needs moar Kiria It's felt like so long since we've actually seen the guy, makes for a pretty good villain. The hotel story's nice and easy to read, hopefully June's release will come out early.
P.S: I wanna know where Ruby buys her "swimsuits".
