Hmm, okay, I know it's already in the eyecatch for SEED's remaster, but I wonder if it will actually be part of the story.

strike with bazooka give recall mostly used whole underwater doing.

but now showing combine all 3 sets is like who knows maybe new scenes for HD seed?

unless more talks of GS movie or unless pulling 3rd GS?

does the scan suggest there will be new scene in the battle of atmospheric entry? (episode 13~14 if my memory serves me right) We all know the chance is slim to none, but we can hope

Yeah, I guess, assuming it will be done, then they would have to consider when would be the best place since it could potentially change the battles significantly.

That makes sense. Powering the weapon directly from the Strike while it was also powering the Aile Striker (which would be the biggest power drain otherwise) would be unfeasible at best and impossible at worst. So instead, they jury-rigged a bunch of power cells for the Agni and connected it to the Strike directly.

Actually, isn't it the other way around? The Striker packs store extra power for Strike.

Well yeah, but you still know what I'm getting at. The anti-ship sword and cannon don't look like they're attached to their usual packs, though, so it's still one Gundam and one Striker Pack powering what is essentially three Striker Packs. I imagine the way its set up, the Sword Striker would use up the least amount of energy, but the Aile and Launcher Strikers together would be pretty power-consuming for the Gundam. It'd still need extra juice.

Ah, well, I didn't take that into account. And I assume that they could've designed this pack so it would hold more power than the original packs and/or use power more efficiently. But yes, having extra battery packs would probably still be the best way, especially if it's in addition to a more power-efficient pack that also holds more power on its own.

@monster: I think if it does get used, I'm thinking it's Kira's idea, so it's kinda a rushed deal probably.

for a more compact version of this: Look at the destiny.

Yes, Destiny is an obvious example of how to combine the packs. Although, it can be said that Destiny lost some of Impulse's better features.

Anyway, on second thought, I don't think this new pack should be used until SEED's second space arc at the earliest, if ever. It wouldn't make any sense for the Archangel to be designing a new pack for the Strike when they're on the run. Even if we forget about the cost of material and other resources, if the pack failed and even damaged the Strike in the process, their chance of survival will vastly decrease.

So I guess, if it's used, it will be by Mu. Maybe he'll provide a better fight against Rau with the new pack.

For non-nuclear gundams, the compact example of the packs (with battery management) would be the IWSP.
