Yes, they lowered the damage. They still manage to give me a nightmare of tentacle rape, though.

In party, you really need to focus fire to bring down each one instead of spreading your damage (screw those Health Link). I don't know about public game, since I've never joined one. Mostly I'm playing with my friends and using Skype so it's easier to coordinate where to move and which one to hit.

Just got my DH to Inferno. The Crit build seems to be working, so I guess I should start working towards it. I am surprised at how easy Hell Diablo died.

Lickers were heavily nerfed since 1.0.3. It was a monster that actually got special attention in the notes along with the fat dudes in Act 3.

Well, I partied with two of my friends for low-level Act clearing, powering through Act 1 and part of Act 2 (defeating Magda). It was a monk, daemonhunter, and witchdoctor (me) team. It kind of bugs me that the class is apparently very unplayable post-Hell, but for now I'm having a lot of fun with it, especially when I start scattering killer frogs all over the place.

yeah, my little bro. was complaining how WD doesnt have much survival escape
skill during inferno. WD will struggle a lot against elites. your pets will die in 1 or

beside that, i was trying to sell some of my tomb of secrets today. i saw
them going for about 1837 gold per unit, so i put up mine for about 1700 a unit.
my 300 tombs were sold in less than a minute...lol. i got about 440,000 gold from
them. was suppose to be around 500000, but the 15% tax comes in. blizzard tax
your gold too!

i did a run today from that mission where you have to kill the spider queen. took
a portal to the cemetary first and gotten the 5 NV buff, then go to spider queen for
rares. did the run all the way to butcher and kill him as well. made around 350,000 gold.
i found this axe. i thought it looks ok. i check the price on it on AH. one result that is
about the same as the axe i found goes for 10 million...lol. 10 million? that's a lot.
i might try selling mine for 5 mil and see how that goes.

i saw a thread on d3 forums where a guy did a comprehensive test on wiz's cold blood passive skill, and the result clearly showed that it actually gives 20% bonus to ALL attacks, so i guess the tooltip isnt showing info correctly.

Now if that is true, then that's one hella incredible passive, isn't it? Then what's the point of going the Fire path anyway, when it only gives you 10% increment in damage?

The gold selling has been around for a while, hasn't it? I remember seeing people asking to buy 1 million golds for $12, and currently it's around $2 ~ $4 for 1 million golds.

It's on the 3rd party sites, yes. But the average player that would spend money on items would probably use the "official" selling in the AH.

All Blizzard needs to do is post a warning on the login page about buying stuff elsewhere to be unsafe and blah blah blah. Then that would serve as a deterrent to the botters without actually taking any action.

lesson of the day. dont trade with strangers? but anyways, scammers wont
be able to run away long because i know Blizzard is going to protect us all

I made a sale of a Star emerald as well, and made a slight profit from it (740,000 minus the tax is about 650k-ish, which is kind of okay). I'm not sure why Amethysts aren't selling as well as Emeralds though, since I figured that the 300 LOH is especially important for some classes...

Anyway, dunno if star making's something that can be done consistently though, as it's pretty time-intensive if you don't buy from the AH.

re Trading Scam: And this is why I don't party in Pubs unless it's for Hell Act IV endgame. Doing it with buddies is the way for go, for sure.
