Looking for something similar to Aishiteru ze Baby, meaning to take care of a child
My previous request still stands but i found myself wanting something similar to Aishiteru ze Baby to, which is something where the protagonist be it female or male suddenly has to take care of a kid, i would like the protagonist to be at least in highschool and not younger, this is my animelist: http://myanimelist.net/animelist/Strike105X

Try Papa no Iukoto o Kikinasai! : the 12-episode TV anime (4 episodes so far released and it's ongoing) features a college student named Yuta who takes care of the three little girls as a adoptive father.

The only one I can really recommend is Les Miserables: Shoujo Cosette. It has a very nice father/daughter relationship and its character development goes to exceptional lenghts. Just two things: 1) it is slow paced, especially at the beginning and again at the middle, 2) the anime has a time skip, which changes things around a bit.

If you're open to manga, I absolutely love Flat. It's about a slacker HS kid who ends up looking after his 5 year-old cousin after school. It's not as dramatic as Usagi Drop, but has some fantastic slice-of-life and I find it to be emotionally profound.
