Hmm... I'm looking over the results of this contest for the first time, and it appears that the voter demographic is comprised mostly of pedos
I think I only agree with Haruhi, Aruruu, Rena, Mion, and Limone's results; everyone else I don't know or I think they got shafted or did way too well. |

Meh... I wouldn't worry about it. Between block voting for minor characters of popular series and the rounds that pitted horses and houseplants against vampires and lolis - it is pretty much just a cluster.... um.... thing.

Mikuru will clash with Yakumo for the right to gain a Round 3 spot in the Saimoe tournament today. I'm sure I don't need to tell all devoted Mikuru-chan admirers what to do.
The possibility that some of the Mai Otome supporters happen to be anti-Haruhi-ists cannot be discounted, and they might just pose a threat by voting for Yakumo just to stop Mikuru from winning, seeing as Haruka has no chance at all. (Though it's also true there're Otome fans who happen to be Haruhi-ists as well, yours truly included. ) It WILL be tough, MAKE EVERY VOTE COUNT! Current voting thread http://etc4.2ch.net/test/read.cgi/vote/1158585666/ Code for today http://banana236.maido3.com/~bs5114/a06/ Instructions on how to vote http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost...71&postcount=1 http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost...78&postcount=4 Last edited by Kinny Riddle; 2006-09-19 at 11:26. |

BTW, someone is doing updates of the vote count once in a while in Kinny's Saimoe thread, read that thread if you want to know about it. Mikuru is leading by around 10-11 votes, which is still extremely close. |

Mikuru won! Seems like the call to arms was enough to muster enough votes to ensure Mikuru had the edge over Yakumo. Thanks to everyone who turned up.
Now's not the time to rest yet though, for today it will be Haruhi's turn. This is a call to arms. Despite Haruhi's group looking easy on paper, one cannot underestimate the strength of the Strawberry Panic brigade, who have been quite successful in this tournament. As one football/soccer coach of a big team says, "We have to earn our right to be called favourites, we will allow no room for complacency. We respect our opponent but we do not fear them." Make sure Haruhi earns the right to be one of the favourite to take this year's title. As cliched as this may sound: EVERY (valid) VOTE COUNTS. Today's code http://banana236.maido3.com/~bs5114/a06/ Current voting thread (it's almost full, so stay tuned for a new one) http://etc4.2ch.net/test/read.cgi/vote/1158757097/ Voting instructions (hopefully with illustrated instructions, one should be able to understand easily, unless you happen to be a rabid Shigure Asa fanboy who thinks SuzuHaru is less well known than SHUFFLE! ) http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost...71&postcount=1 http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost...78&postcount=4 |

The new voting thread is here
http://etc4.2ch.net/test/read.cgi/vote/1158762589/ From some of the posts, the anti-Haruhi-ists are really making a lot of noise, their agenda is ABH - Anyone But Haruhi. Haruhi would need all the votes she can get, see to it that the anti-Haruhi-ists petty crusade against Haruhi ends in failure. |
