She does know. She just doesn't give a damn what anyone else thinks, as was made clear in this episode. She's basically been that way from the get-go, though, so it's not specific to this one area.

Can you do it? Can you ask others not your family? And they'll probably advice them to separate. And Haru doesn't want that, Sora is the only family he had. And I actually think that if he seeked help, some of his friends if not all will not understand and very much disgusted, like what we just witnessed in final minutes of episode 11.

What can Haru do? It's hard to resist such sister like Sora.

I have to say, episode 11 actually made me laugh. When the two girls walked in the door and Sora and Haruka were going at it doggy style, the look on Sora's face was priceless.

took me a day to get over what I watched

so good thing is that they went all out with the arc ... so some random thought, replies below:

Poor Nao, almost raped, then pretend nothing's wrong, and even tried to stop Kozue, and save the siblings from the world of pain waiting them in the next episode. By far the most mature character of the show.

Suggesting this anime to anyone, who is religious or conservative is suicidal. Suggesting it to your sister ... LOL!

Motoka's omake was hilarious and ep.10 had the cuttest Sora ever.

I must express my annoyance with the persistance on Haru's mastrubation debate, it's as single-minded as Haruka's rape.

For the ending speculation, I am with Kaoru ... it was the first thought that pop into my mind when Akira mentioned the legend.

Finally, on the sex scenes, I wish every romance anime was like this one, instead of the juvenile date-sims or porn-style that the vast majority have.

On a second note, Sora was really lovellable, but still, she is such a manipulative, immature, and spoiled brat. Granted there are a ton of excuses, but they do not change the fact.

And let me not forget ...

That's one of the many reasons why I love Sora. She's right not to give a damn. You shouldn't let what other people think get in the way of your happiness/love. Of course, it's easier said than done. It's incredibly hard to live as social pariahs, but as long as they have each other, I think they can make it. I'm pretty sure Nao will support them too. She's a really kind and caring girl.

I watch it for the plot as well, even if I very much enjoy the Sora service. I would have enjoyed the series just as much without the sex scenes, I just take them as a very nice bonus. In the first place, I had no idea there would be so much sexual content in this show, I remember game players (maybe you?) telling us there probably wouldn't even be fanservice in this anime. Oh, how wrong you guys turned out to be!
I have to admit the main reason I became interested in it is the twincest (and Sora herself, I knew I would love her as soon as I read Skyfall's description, and she didn't disappoint one bit) though. Not just because I find it arousing, but because I've always found incest to be a very interesting subject to explore since it's so controversial. I'm glad to see the series is handling it well.

Eeexcellent! My work is done. And I agree about how Nao seems mature, but I'll wait until the next episode to see.

I hate harem shows, I hate omnibus form and I hate useless fanservice. So I kept wondering why on earth I'm following Yosuga no Sora. It's the plot. It's the beautiful music. It's the charm of characters. And definitely, it's the awesome twincest.

True, specifically the storytelling is excellent (especially in the two final arcs), especially considering the limited airing time (~4 hours for 5 stories) and reset for each arc. Though still, I cannot see how this show could work without the sex scenes, in the sense that characterazation would be very shallow, and a lot of situations would loose their emotional impact. On the downside, you get a lot of people who watch it just for sex, which I never really understood.

This may have been a coincidence but I think this show(or its game where it based from) may have been mixture of Egyptian mythology and Shinto one.

Haruka = Osiris(six letters)
Sora = Isis(four letters)

Osiris and Isis are twin brother and sister as well as husband and wife, which represent Haruka's and Sora's forbidden romance. Haruka usually wear black t-shirt, which may represent Osiris' skin color which usually black or dark green, colors of decaying flesh. Sora wear white gothic lolita dress which also represent color of Isis. It may also a symbolism for Sora's purity and innocence until Haruka deflowered her.

And please do not take this one seriously because this is only my view alone.

That's a real shame. Wait a minute, she voiced Aki in the Aki Sora: Yume no Naka OVA!? I had no idea. She used an alias (god knows why) but that's definitely her. One more similarity between the two anime.
