I'm definitely glad there's going to be a 2nd season. I'd really like to see more of the other students (i.e. all the students except Deku and Bakugou). That's not to say I wouldn't also welcome more Deku and Bakugou focus, but I felt that Season 1 covered them very well (especially Deku), while it feels like we've just skimmed the surface of most of the other students. There's certainly a lot of potential there.

I'd say it's quite possible they'll change the timeslot seeing how booked it is for a while. That and the first 8 episodes had the worst average rating for Nichigo (which is a prime time slot, so you can't say TV ratings don't matter at all), may as well move it elsewhere and hope to get a show that brings in viewers.

Ok, finally decided to give the show a chance. I'm up to episode 12 now and have been really enjoying the characters. Animation is a little weird, is it supposed to be all comics Spider Man stuff? Kind of reminds me a bit of that.
Boy am I glad we are getting a second season, how far away is the Anime and manga?

And so the first season concludes. I'm really going to miss this show, I hope they announce a date for the second season soon (maybe fall 2016?). One of my favorite adaptations, they kept everything important and with great animation too, I hope they can keep this quality up for another season. This was probably the best stopping point for a first season, now I just wish they would announce the next season sooner.
Several changes from the manga this time, but it gave the other pro heroes a chance to show off, so I don't mind. And plenty of glimpses of things to come. Great to see so many pro heroes come to the rescue, but with the narration, this is only the start of something much bigger. Too bad Deku's legs got busted up again, but at least he could walk home with his friends. All Might was in bad shape too, but he kept going right up to the end. |

Of course the hero with the gun is the best hero lol. I know heros don't function like killers, but it would've been so easy just aiming for Tomura's head. And it looks like Nomu survived after all. I'm surprised he didn't kill everyone on site. :0
Really awesome last episode. |

Good season overall, liked most of the fights especially against the villains and the way they introduced the characters although there's some lack of characterization on them given the length of the season.
Can't wait for season 2. I thought the finale wrapped up nicely for the first season as well and sets up for more events in the future.

Really nice finale for this season. Really glad we are going to have a season 2! Best pure battle-shonen i saw in years! I'm in love with the characters, the way the tropes were used and how fantastic the animation/OST was. Together with Bungou Stray Dogs, Bones really was on fire this season

Very good end to an excellent final arc for Season 1.
This is probably the best shounen adaptation I've watched since Full Metal Alchemist. Yes, I prefer MHA to AoT, largely for pacing reasons (MHA might not be super-fast, but it's nowhere near as slow as AoT is). All Might is a very admirable hero with a good edge to him, and I like his very real character flaw - He takes too much on himself and doesn't ask for help enough. His bluff in this final episode wasn't exactly dumb but it was very risky, and he's fortunate that Deku didn't listen to him and rushed to his aid. From a coldly logical perspective, All Might maybe should have told the 4 kids present to try to rush/defeat the 2 remaining villains - Bakugou already has experience in overcoming the shadowy guy, and Iceman/Human Torch hybrid might be able to take Mr. Permanent Face-Palm with the help of one other student hero. Still, like I said, this is a good character flaw, because it reflects well on All Might's great sense of responsibility and his desire to keep others out of danger as much as possible, even at grave risk to himself. It was also very good to see other pro heroes arrive in this final episode. Some really nice character designs and costumes there, adding to the wonderful variety of this show. It's very cool that one is a highly accurate gun-user.
