"HHH..."

In the middle of the night, a boy is awakened by a terrible nightmare.

"Why can't I..."

That person flips the switch on, revealing the figure of Ichika. A thin mist of steamed sweat rises above him.

"11:45 PM... No good."

It takes a few minutes for the bloodshot eyes to get use to the warm light. When Ichika could finally calm down, he grab the porcelain cup for a drink.

The cold water has a great effect on him: Not only it quenches his thirst, Ichika's senses are much more clearer now. Immediately, a horrible odor rushes to his nose: a mix of sweat, beer, leftover food and blood. And it all come from the piles of clothes that is laying on the far side of his room.

Not only that, the room itself is a garbage dump. It seems a storm has passed here. A contradictory to Ichika's cleanness. But the only thing that matter to him is the tsunami inside him.

"Everyone..."

A set down wooden frame is turned over. His dirty fingers touch the cracked glass. Behind it, a picture of Ichika's friend and him. Everyone was happy, including... him...

Why can't he just do it? Why couldn't he pulled the trigger on that day? Why the one that he wants to kill most is himself?

"I'm sorry..."

Ichika sunks down onto the messed up bed. He wants to cry, to scream, to break something. But above all, a desire to puke in self-disgust. He sits there, like a lifeless stone, until the sirens catch his ears:

"WARNING! WARNING! ALL STUDENTS PLEASE STAY INSIDE YOUR ROOM UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!"

... That is! Tonight, he will end it all.

Ichika grabs the Colt SAA and one bullet under his pillow. But just as before he walks out his room, Ichika makes one last longing look at the picture.

"Farewell..."

See! It isn't that great compare when I first started.

the subject matter sounds like something up wave and erachi's alley though.

Is it weird if I suddenly try to write a Mahouka fic just about Tatsuya, his habbit of morning tea and the surpressed emotions? Somehow, my one-shots now are always focus on one particular but everyday action, while insert some meaning behind it.

And could Ichika practised polygamy if he wanted to?

And yes, yes they are. But some of them do put their effort to their works, and sometime you could find a gem in the haysack (like a particular M-rate xover with ZnT and Decade. Not self-insert, though).

Pretty high for both, the difference is the world as large already knew how much a battlefield monster Icchan is, while Ikkun still largely unknown, a wild card.

Perhaps in certain countries, but no one will be impressed (feminist surely will be pissed). Not that he want to, the latest chapter has him manning up and reject girls left and right.

After the near-miss two days ago she coudl ill-afford not having control surfaces on her IS. "I'm actually out. Clubbing. Surfing. Racing. Make something up, Eddy."

"It is Captain Natasha Fairs, Miss."

That made Ange pause and grimace a second. "Tell her I'm not here."

"Tell WHO you're not here?" A woman's voice and a tapping boot could be heard from behind Ange. "And tell WHO about what you were doing tuesday night over the Nevada desert?"

"This. Is. Not. Angelina. Stark." Ange suddenly stood ramrod straight, a glazed look in her eyes. "This. Is. A. Stark. Life-Model. Decoy. Please. Leave A Message."

"Oh please." Fairs rolled her eyes and sank her face into her palm. "That wasn't funny back when your father did it and it's not very original of you, young lady."

"I. Repeat." Ange robotically and unsubtly tried to leave the room. Not fast enough to avoid hands reaching for her ear. "This. Is. A. Stark. Life-Model. De--OWOWOOWOWOWOOWWW!!"

"I'll have her home by 8, Jarvis." Natasha smiled, with Stark in tow.

Among the girls who has the potential in becoming the most patient woman able to withstand Ichika's density and perhaps even break through it.
