Got my grubby hands on the cover album, and damn, is it glorious. The fantastic tracks of old have been given a fresh feel, but they haven't been updated too much to the point of losing their original charm.
I'll probably do a short review on the album on the blog later on. Oh, and let the record state that SaintessHeart picked the correct version of Ai Oboete Imasuka.

I also really loved Taketatsu Ayanyan(Ayumi's) and Touyama Nao(Kanon's) were both excellent too, and I liked really Hayami Saori(Haqua) and Hanazawa Kana(Shiori) too, while remaining ones to me weren't quite as good imo, Elsie's was the only one that left me a bit disappointed though.

Kanon's Ai Oboeteimasu ka? and Mio's Purachina are easily my favourite songs. Great renditions, can't add anything. My third favourite is probably Shiori's Egao ni Aitai, because her somewhat overused voice still scores during songs imo. Elsie's Dancing Star lands on #4, because I find the song itself very catchy despite the strangeness. The instruments used kinda give me a sweet feeling. But yeah, maybe too much (probably not?) is emphasized on Elsie's childishness that her singing isn't all that awesome when it could be.
The rest of the songs are good, too, but I find myself listening to them less than to the above 4.

Guys, read the small print below the main title of the album cover.
Spoiler for big:

Plus Wakaki's post on the album : What is with the fire truck? Is he implying that he would like to give each of the girls a feeling of one? And here is the updated songlist : The only injustice I have with the album is why Keima is singing such a girly song from Tokimeki Memorial. It's so wrong. Quote:
IMPORTANT NOTICE Btw my waifu's VA is having her own concert on 3/3/12. All the numbers are multiples of 3. And if she sings Ai Oboete Imasuka, it would be a total win due to the year she is performing in (2012......ring any bells?). Seriously, she should perform Tenshi no Enogu. Her lively character as displayed in the song Darling Baby suits it well.
