Until now, I've posted my earlier works, where I was still experiencing and I wasn't producing a large number of gifs yet. As explained, it was because I still hadn't joined any board for specific series (except Shuffle when it was almost over). I think that not much of the gifs posted until now could actually bring back memories to the readers
It can be said that my activity level skyrocketed when a certain new series began on that period. § Fate/stay night might be considered my very first large scale project, so yup, it was a big help for me. And also a lot of fun This is the first batch, with the second to come later. To be continued..

Still a lot of Ilya left, so don't worry.
---------------------------------------------------------- February and March were months of love ^^ . Meaning that I took a huge liking for a couple of character appeared in two short series in that period. The first one is Onda Aka from REC . I used two avatars of her: § This one was quite simple, but the series didn't offer much as gif-material: § This one instead is probably the most complicated avatar I have ever made. I wanted to recreate the effect of a photosession, but in the anime it was slightly different, she was just spinning left and right. Above all, I had to invent a loop! As a side problem, there were 33 frames to fit into 50 Kb (hence the reason it's not 100x100, probably the only non 100x100 avatar I've ever used here). By the way, I'll never forget a comment KiNA made about that avatar In REC, Aka was a fan of Audrey Hepburn. The anime offered a few tributes to the immense belgian actress, by showing some poses of Aka taken from actual Hepburn's movies. I turned them into avatars and took the time to identify them ---> Roman Holiday ---> Funny Face ---> Breakfast at Tiffany's ---> How to Steal a Million ---> My Fair Lady --------------------------- After my most complicated avatar, one of my absolute favourites. § Silly Karin Nothing to say, I still love this one quite a lot ^^ § And since we're talking of Karin § This update ends with an avatar that I made but I'm not sure if I used it. Maybe, but if so, not more than a few days Kinomoto Sakura from Card Captor Sakura, one of the cutest characters ever existed

I can only guess it is the experience. If you watch my first gifs, the timing was far from being perfect, while if you watch the gifs that came after Fate/stay night (when I'll post them), I believe that a slow improvement can be seen, at least to my eyes
I can only suggest to download the gifs that you deem as "well timed" and to check their times, to have a wider answer. What do you mean by "perfect". Is it the cropping? A normal rule that I use is to crop in a way that the character's eyes are always at the center of the picture. If the character moves his head, then the eyes have to be centered on the frame when he's looking the camera (a frame which I usually set with the highest timing). If it's an action gif (meaning that they spin all around), usually cropping in the middle will do. If not, manually adjust it as your eye suggests. Not sure if I got your question right, but at least, those are the simplest tips I could give
