Anime with memorable next episode preview dialogue?
One of the small things that tends to get missed in anime are oftentimes the dialogue when the preview for the next episode is shown. What are some of your favorites?
I always enjoyed the banter between the Bebop crew in Cowboy Bebop next episode previews Paranoia Agent and Berserk are two others that had some pretty thoughtful- philosophical episode preview dialogues

The ending phrase in both seasons of Ef were really good as well, although at this time I can't remember what they were since it has been so long .

The Nichijou previews were all random stuff from the episode being voiced by a famous voice actor and had nothing to do with the next episode.
Norio Wakamoto as the wooden cube of power was awesome. As was Aya Hirano as a King piece on a cake.

I do remember Angel Beats' preview shorts where they basically throw in a bunch of random, mixed up dialogue in one package. Oh the nostalgia. The preview for the third episode had a scream in the end saying "DON'T TOUCH IT!" IIRC |

THE ENTIRE RUN OF FIST OF THE NORTH STAR: Starring Chiba Shigeru.
The gradual insanity building towards the end of the series was head exploding awesome of awesomeness. Nothing in the history of anything will ever top that.

Then there were the Haruhi previews with Haruhi and Kyon arguing over the episode number. With Episode 12 being the one time their numbers agreed, which shocked Kyon.
Haruhi: "Listen to my song!" Kyon: "Bomber!"

There are only a few series where I cared about watching the previews because they were actually funny and interesting, but that's basically what was already mentioned in this thread. The ones from Cowboy Bebop, Nichijou and Haruhi are definitely something that you can't simply skip. Clannad had also an interesting take on them, by taking and piecing dialogues from the next episode completely out of contest thus giving a completely wrong impression (it was clannad that did that right? I'm not sure, I've watched too many anime.)

Misato you liar. Haruhi Suzumiya was interesting since it had Haruhi and Kyon arguing about the correct number of the next episode.

I love how Exacilbur screams "BAKA!" through one entire Soul Eater preview and Maka finally tells him to shut up at the end.
THIS is my favorite anime episode preview though: Spoiler for Full Moon Wo Sagashite:
In Japanese, he says "Hai, yokatta desu neeeeeeeee!?" and the way he says the "ne" is just so........ XD it's hilarious!! I don't know why people say the Japanese don't use sarcasm...because they most certainly do. You don't see it used that often but when it is, it's unmistakable.

In Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai the main boy, Saatchi, wants to deliver the previews at the end of every episode, but events transpire that keep him from doing so. Usually his friend Arumi delivers the preview, or they squabble over who will play that role.

Gundam has always been great for this aside from the afformentioned "You will see the tears of time" there's:
G Gundam: Gundam Fighters ready GOOO! Turn A: xcarried in on the wind of y (varies by episode theme) V Gundam: *unfittingly jolly music* "next time on V Gundam *episode title* please watch it!" Other favorites are: Escaflowne: "Was it all just a dream? No! It was real! Gaogaigar: "the next key to victory is..." *image of robot or tool to be featured in next episode* Dougram: "Not even justice! I want to get truth!" |

Texhnolyze... those blurry scenes, projected onto a weird, angular surface, and the episode title, illegible at first, then slowly coming into focus...
Also Paranoia Agent, as already mentioned. Ergo Proxy had one too, similar to the one from Higurashi. Both increasing the already thick atmosphere.

You folks have mentioned some great ones already (particularly Misato's sabisu or Haruhi's first season debates over the next episode's number ) but I'd like to add a few more:
Jormungand's "her name is Koko, she is loco, I said OH NO!" sticks in my mind. And obviously Yamato 2199 and it's countdown to humanity's demise.
