@ Demi - You're forgetting the fact that it's been gping on for generations now and Tatenashi's family is also in on it. It's not vigilante work and there's nothing illegal about it.

Of course there is, since by any terms core-equipped A.S. are second only to I.S. the pilot must be stable enough. Except something that can be played for laughs, all the psychological impact is treated rather seriously.

Especially in the case of civilian, such as Run, who saw a tentacle-equipped ETX mutilated by Rito who' literally covered with chainsaw....

@Demi yes, it's all legal stuff.

If they aren't approved by the government then they are vigilantes which could open up the path for IchikaxTatenashi lovers on different sides kind of thing.

If the Sarashikis are part of the government then Ichika may become a field agent for them.

Either way I'll drop the argument of vigilante or not due to the fact I lack information.

To expand upon my idea, rather than one planet being the world, it would probably be comprised of a system of planets.

There would be individual planets for the synthesis of food, water,, energy, and raw materials.

All that is synthesized would be used for the planet that is used for residency.

The entire planetary system is enclosed in a membrane filled with a cloud, this is the hive mind.
