I just watched episode 3, and holy god. Are we sure Yoshiyuki Tomino isn't directing this series from behind the curtains?

Ohh I'm liking this series so far (ep 3), well parts of it are executed to perfection, yet other parts just don't feel right to me. Sara really carries the show for me, I like seeing how she endures the haggling, she keeps all the emo inside and lets it out when she needs to, very good. Action good, mecha design ok, character design on par (well I don't really care about the sub characters, who look very generic, Sara is the only one that captivates my attention).
However, the concepts about light speed and time that this show uses, meh... they aren't that exciting. I'd would've like to see them use some of the future(freaky) science concepts. Trying to achieve light speed the old fashioned way is like trying to make a car go forward without tires. Oh well, it's anime after all. |
