So Derp subs is the only group willing to do this? Have the other groups given up on this?
Edit: Also, I noticed how Hanyuu now has an extra Hanyuu at the end of most sentencesthis episode. Her VA has quite a mouthful to say this episode lol. Last edited by Oblivion; 2011-09-28 at 22:50. |

I liked it when they called it Nanoha. This... this is just trash. It isn't as utter trash as the first, because there wasn't gross fanservice every minute.
The only good thing out of this was the dream as adult rika; was mildly hot. The rest; well enjoy the slideshow I guess, I mean not only does the script make absolutely no sense even for a comical thing, it's so fucking random. Hell, I find Nichijou more funny. Actually not a damned thing I've seen from Deen since UBW have anything resembling a narrative. It's like they went all out on being outrageous and perverted and stupid that they forgot about being funny. And the OP/ED BURN IN HELL. Crap animation, crap script, and these aren't even the characters I knew. I have Carnival Phantasm for silly fun and that actually looks good. 3/10 Fuck you deen and dropped.

I found this to be so much funnier and cuter than the last episode. I enjoyed it...
I hope the subbers don't givbe up subbing, I mean Kai was the end of all the tension, Killing Dice (though we can say for sure the VN was vastly more important) was to give an explaination to Frederica Bernkastel... All there is left to is to have a bit of fun with the series... and parodies are just fine in my opinion. |

Well... this was a huge step above episode one, which I don't think I really ever want to watch again.. :c Though that episode had something redeeming in it, but that's not meant for here~
Anyway, episode two. I've already decided before the OVA that I would completely detach this from the Higurashi we know and love, since obviously the story is over (though OVAs of some of the other mysteries would be cool, I didn't expect it of course). The sad thing with this episode is that I didn't even watch it all at once. I watched about half, then before loading the second half, I got distracted by something else and didn't watch the rest for DAYS. It just didn't seem like something I'd go out of my way for, because it really wasn't all that interesting. Well, here's the basic run-down of what I thought. Spoiler for good, neutral, bad:
Why did Riks call Keiichi Kei-Kei though..? I don't remember her ever doing that.. Anyway, overall average episode. Probably would only watch again if I couldn't think of anything better to do/watch. |

Very random episode. O.O It was not spectacular but I still liked it. Definitely a big improvement from the previous episode. I'm also still enjoying the new art style as I find it very cute. Hope next episode will be even better.
Still though, this new OVA cannot compare to the first two seasons of Higurashi. I adored the first two seasons so much. This new OVA is just so different, sometimes I feel like it's not even Higurashi which is sad. |

Pleasantly surprised by episode 2.
Rika is pretty good at being a magical girl, now she has some powers. Of course, to make things more balanced - the villains gain magical powers as well. Funny when she got angry because she didn't grow up. It seems the Rika she "replaced" in that world is a grown up one.

I thought it was worth some laughs. Almost fitting since after all that Rika has gone through it kind of fit. Went through all those crazy dangers, just this time she actually got the powers to fight back for herself. My sympathies when she expected an adult form transformation, but stayed small .
Think after all the wild dangers this kind of episode is nice. Some ridiculous enemies, but a good adventure for Rika and Satoko to share. Funny that giant monsters really do feel safer than the things she had to face during the main series. Besides I thought Rika and Hanyuu were hilarious when Rika showed her darker side .

I don't know why people are hating on this. I mean let's face it, the game of June 1983 is over, they escaped tragedy. Let them live their lives, okay?
And this is basically a retelling of the series with mahou shoujo! What could go wrong? It's my favorite Glitter episode so far. It was comical, poking fun at itself, both for the episode's scenario, and as a parody of the series in general. Naked Takano was a wtf moment though, but in general, I had a lot of fun with it.
