The episode itself was pretty good but the animation was horrible, one of the worst I've seen in season 2.
Looks like the Koga will gain his wings next week.

The sad part is that is not really one of the worst this season. The animation has been so bad (ep67, ep77) that his falls right on average.

Well, unlike the other two, Shokotan is an actual singer.

Shokotan is as much of a singer as the other two seiyuu are as a singer - eg not very much.

She started off as a multi-faced "talento" and pretty much by requirement dabbed into singing just like a lot of Japanese celebrities ends up doing. Both Midorikawa and Furuya probably sang more songs than Shokotan has as their long seiyuu professions requires of them to do (as people will already recall, Furuya started singing sort of seriously for Sailormoon, when Shokotan was still at school, Midorikawa had sung a lot as well and was in a seiyuu idol group) , it's just that they lack the talent in singing as both seiyuu have professed themselves on numerous occasions anyway, I think Midorikawa had even said that he hates the singing in his work, but don't quote me on that.

This was a pretty good episode. Intense, fast paced, a lot of content.

Paradox went down more gracefully than expected. Another unexpected event was Hyoga and Shun finding Europa. Aren't they too much for him? Or Maybe Europa is special.
Speaking of which, are the other "Pallasites" aware that the whole thing with Pallas is a farce or just the Four Kings and Europa?

Btw, i love the work Hiromi Tsuru is doing as Pallas, evolving her voice and manner of speech as she grows up. I'm looking forward to see how she and Titan develop from now on.

The animation itself was ok, it was the art that was inconsistent, especially when the faces were seen from afar.
Next week looks far worse, but of course, it's the return of Yoshitaka Yashima, the worst animation director.

That's Noboru Koizumi, who did the Hyoga vs Tokisada episode recently, i think he's pretty good.
Yashima's last episode was 77, the one where everyone breaks the time gate. His art is by far the poorest, and the animation usually isn't good either.

With this level of animation? I hope not. They will look lame and they will most likely add those bling-blink crystals on them (ugh..). The Hades Elysium OVA already hurt the God Cloths’s reputation with all those still frames and static animation. I prefer they save those God Cloths for movies or when Umakoshi is back to do the animation (this is why I like Lost Canvas's dynamic animation). It's bad enough that they will likely feature Pallas & Athena's God Cloths with this lacking animation we get so far.

It seems to me that the storyline is starting to improve or at least I'm enjoying it more.... As for god cloths... Who knows. Omega says no one has reached the Omega sense but idk. I think that whole part is weird.

I didn't like how the clothes looked like in LC at all. For an ova, it had a fair share of derpiness...even if the clothes weren't very detailed to begin.

Spoiler for this looks bad:

Elysios had static animation, sure, but the god cloth looked better than this.

But the biggest problem, i hate the bland, washed out coloring they used for the Gold clothes and the God cloth...all clothes looked absolutely unimpressive, the higher ranks didn't stand out compared to Bronze/Silver. Even the old original anime did that better.
